Update on rescuer who disappeared in North Carolina

On July 1, an important, and wonderful, update about the 24-year-old woman who disappeared while on a break from her job at a Starbucks at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport in North Carolina, was released. Allison Cope, with Change of Heart Pit Bull Rescue in Raleigh was found alive in Virginia Beach, Virginia, reported WNCN News.

An official statement about Cope’s discovery was made by the Raleigh-Durham International Airport:

 “Late last night (Saturday, July 1), the Airport Authority Police Department was notified that Allison Cope was found alive in Virginia Beach, Va., by the Virginia Beach Police Department. We have no additional details at this time.”

Change of Heart Pit Bull Rescue also released a brief statement:

Allison has been found. She is under medical care and we are so thankful to all who kept searching for her! Thank you for helping!!!!

  1. Oh thank God!! So,so very nice to have a good ending! But being a very nosy girl I’m just dying to know the complete story! And even tho I’m wondering what happened I’m overjoyed that this young woman has been found and found alive!!!!
