An unwanted dog, living in emotional agony inside of a lonely kennel run, is growing increasingly depressed. Bruno, a two-year-old pit bull, has been held at the Carson Animal Services facility in California since January.
Each day, Bruno wakes up to the same barks and cries of distressed and unwanted dogs around him – each day, as night falls, he hears the same depressing cries as he tries to drift off to sleep. Bruno has no reason to wake up with hope – nobody he knows is coming to save him from his misery.
Each day, people walk by his kennel run without a backward glance – there are no new toys, no pats on the head, or words of love. Each day brings more rejection and solitude.
Bruno is in desperate need of help – his heart is broken and he has lost hope. Please help this young dog have a reason to smile again – a reason to wag his tail and get a spark in his beautiful eyes. Bruno is living on borrowed time – unwanted pets do not get to stay at open-intake facilities for an indefinite period of time. At some point, Bruno’s number will come up and a stranger will lead him away to a stark room and his life will be prematurely ended.
Sharing Bruno’s adoption information will help save him from that unthinkable fate.
