Three bonded seniors surrendered together at height of summer heat and slated to die

Three bonded seniors watch everyone coming and going by their kennel enclosure; they most likely are hoping their family is coming back to get them. What they don’t know nor can they understand is they were all surrendered to the Carson Animal Care Center in California on Saturday. No reason has been offered why the three seniors were no longer wanted, but does any excuse it make a difference to these dogs if their lives are soon snuffed away? The shelter is full, it is very hot, and they need help quickly to survive.

  1. SMH…….OMG: some people are just horrible…… those poor furbabies…….

We need lots of people (besides just me) to email “Frosted Faces” & “No paws left behind” rescue organizations begging them to help……

I hope these adorable seniors find new furever homes ASAP…….

  2. There’s a special place in hell for people who dump precious dogs like these. IF they had a “legitimate” reason, they would have told the shelter. Sharing with prayers that not only are these three rescued, but that they get to stay together.

  3. Please help these senior doggies get homes ???? they need your help please do not let them die god bless god help them bg

MERCI.

  5. Fucking loser people. I will never understand how any human being can just turn their dog or cat in like that and not think of the poor animal. Disgraceful….hope those fucking losers die in a car crash or something horrible

  6. This IMMEADIATELY made me cry! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THESE BABIES WERE EVER LOVED BY THEIR OWNERS! ABSOLUTELY NO WAY! BECAUSE IF THEY WERE EVER TRUELY LOVED THEY WOULD NOT BE TAKEN TO KILLED! WHEN U LOVE ANYTHING IN THIS LIFE U PROTECT THEM AT ALL COST,U LOVE THEM TO THE BITTER END,U LOVE THEM NO MATTER WHAT! OMG! HOW I WISH I COULD TAKE ALL THREE OF THEM,BUT I HAVE THREE AND BUT FOR THE COST OF VET CARE I WOULD HAVE TWO OR THREE MORE! I SHARE THESE POSTS ON TWITTER AND FACEBOOK BUT HAVENT A CLUE ON TO TAG RESCUES FOR THESE POSTS! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL DOGS! HOW DOES ANYONE DO THIS? ABANDONMENT OF DOGS ANYWHERE BE IT A KILL SHELTER OR OUT IN THE MIDFLE OF NOWHERE IS SO INCREADABLY CRUEL! OH PLEASE SOMEONE SAVE THESE DOGS!

  7. I would gladly do the same thing to their ex owners. lock them up and throw away the key. those poor little dogs. I have 3 dogs. one is12 yrs old, the other is10 yrs old, and almost 5 yrs old. I would not give them up to anyone. no matter how old they get. I will take care of them.

  8. How does someone give up 3 10 year old dogs and think they will easily get adopted. Bonded animals who probably have never been apart. Fosters are wonderful people and just hope they will step up for all three. They are small so hope they will find homes either together or separate with loving families. The cost of taking care of all three would be costly and maybe there are groups that would help with monthly cost so they can be together. A responsible pet owner doesn’t just think “oh, how cute” and ignore the cost involved in the care and feeding of these animals. There should be services where the cost can be reduced to adopt and give those animals a loving home.

  9. It could be they belonged to an elderly person who either died or went into the hospital or a home. It doesn’t help to condemn the previous owners. We don’t know the whole story.

  10. I have 4 of my own…one is almost 11, 1 is 9, a 3 and a 1yr old. I had to take a leave of absence from my job because of a medical procedure I had to get and unfortunately I can’t do the job anymore so now with only my disability and my military retirement check we are struggling and not once did the idea of giving my furkids away ever cross my mind or any of my family’s mind. We are making it work. I can’t fathom why anyone would do this. Its heartbreaking.

    • EXACTLY!!! And it breaks my heart and infuriates me that this is done all day, everyday in every kill shelter in America! As a nation we can and should do better and nothing will ever change my mind about that! I hate that they are even called shelters, they shelter nothing but killing innocent healthy dogs, call them what they are killing factories! Thank God for the volunteers in these places, that try their best to network and save the few souls that they can!

    • I was a volunteer in a shelter for 30 years and I think I can tell you that there are two kind of people when it comes to pets, people like you who will do anything and never give them up and people who without a backward glance, will “get rid of” their pet no matter what–just dump them without a backward glance!!

  11. Does anyone have an update on these 3 seniors ?? Did a senior rescue step in and take them ? This breaks my heart ! I would take them but i live in Maryland and Carson won’t let out of state adopt. Even if I arranged transport to get them here. I already have 5 small seniors and they would fit right in.
