A Nevada teenager is accused of a despicable act of animal cruelty which claimed the life of a puppy. According to Thursday’s Las Vegas Now, a pit bull puppy was allegedly beaten to death by a teenager in Nye County who was angry about a chewed shoe.

The puppy apparently suffered fatal injuries after a 17-year-old boy got angry after waking up and finding his new shoes chewed up.  The teen allegedly admitted to hitting the pup with a shoe, as well as kicking and hitting the puppy multiple times.

A necropsy confirmed that the puppy died from blunt force injuries – the teen was taken into custody by a juvenile probation officer.

So he was mad because the puppy chewed his new shoes? I have a great idea: why not put the shoes out of the puppy’s reach, asshole??????

How many things do you think I’ve had destroyed by puppies over the almost 60 years I’ve lived on this earth?

SHOES and things can be replaced: a living, breathing, loving PUPPY cannot!!!!

You dirty, foul, evil piece of trash, I hope they lock you up and throw away the key! Truth be told, they should probably also take your parents in, since you probably learned this kind of behavior from them.

Over a a fu*king shoe???? Puppies chew, they are teething! So despicable that shoes were more important to him than a life! This POS has displayed just what he is made of…..severely lacking any kind of morals, and in his chest beats a cold, dark heart! He is completely depraved, insensitive, inhumane, brutal and cruel! My 14 yrs old chewed my exspensive favorite shore when she was 7 months old,and it pissed me off royally! I chose to walk away and step outside and take a few deep breaths and come back inside, gather them up and toss them in the trash, because at the end of the day they were only shoes! I loved my dog way more than a pair of shoes! He will most likely repeat this kind of violence upon another helpless soul,be it animal or human! Unfortunately he too will more than likely get the standard slap on the wrist! I hope his life goes hell in a handbag and the misfortune follows hims forever!!! RIP SWEET LITTLE PUPPY!

This POS needs to be charged as an adult, a 17 year old is old enough to know puppies chew things and keep them out of the puppy’s reach, he is old enough to have control of his temper so he doesn’t kill an innocent puppy! Get him off the street before he kills a human for making him mad!

We know where the pos’s priorities were. You have a puppy you remove items that they’ll find too enticing to chew.

  5. Adrienne says:

Try this scum as an adult and put him in jail for the rest of his life. He will cause the death of a human, possibly member of his family. Better yet, do unto him what he did to this poor puppy.

  6. Helen says:

If you don’t want your puppy to chew on your shoes, put them away moron! To kill a puppy over a chewed shoe is an extreme overreaction that can not be overlooked. This teenager needs to learn there are consequences to his action and be punished to the fullest extent of the law as an adult.

  7. Red says:

Keep this sick, wasted, use of skin locked up. He does not deserve any mercy!!! Puppies chew, that’s just what they do if they are bored and do not have toys and chew sticks! DO NOT RELEASE THIS MONSTER…… he is a serial killer in training.
