Bonded friends need help

Sweet, bonded friends – owner doesn’t want them

Recently, a good Samaritan discovered two dogs who were obviously bonded friends, running loose in Hartsville, Tennessee. The dogs, a pit bull and a small mixed breed, were loaded into the woman’s car and she set out to find their owner.

Sadly, when the suspected owner was found, the dogs were rejected – the good Samaritan, whose name is Lani, began searching for a rescue group to take the dogs in. Again, her efforts were fruitless – nobody could (or would) help.

These rejected friends were fortunately in the hands of an animal lover – their “angel” took them to a veterinarian and had them fully vetted (including altering and vaccinations) as well as bathed and treated for fleas and ticks. Amazingly, the kind woman then went a step further and paid to put the dogs in boarding (she already has her maximum limit of dogs at her own home).

But these sweet friends need a real home to go to – not a boarding facility. Please share this article with the hopes that someone out there can find it in their heart to take these bonded dogs in. They didn’t ask to be rejected by their family and they need to go somewhere that they will be loved and adored.

Lani is the ONLY person to stood up to help these dogs whose so called ‘owner’ has their brains stuck up their ass – just let them go to run the streets with no concern for their welfare whatsoever. THANK YOU LANI for doing what you could for them – PLEASE some kind person adopt these two bonded dogs and give them the safe loving home they obviously never had.

Hi Lani. My name is Dee Pruitt. I live in Maryland. I would be happy to take these sweet babies. I have helped transport dogs to homes in many states. I have 2 brothers, Buddy and Jack, I rescued together from the Eastern shore. And 2 dogs, Weenie and Georgia, I rescued from Georgia. And 1 named Mikey from Alabama. They were transported from those states to Maryland by rescue transports. Please let me know if you have not found homes for them together. Its always better to find them a home close so they don’t have to travel so far. But if it comes down to desperately needing placement, please let me know. ……thank you.

Hi friends! Well good news.. our friend came by today and fell in love. So we are going to try it out tomorrow. Thank you all for your kind words. Penny has known me for a very long time and knows I am always saving something 😉 I am very fortunate I was able to help these sweet babies. There is no greater love than that of a rescued animal. Lord help these people who dumped them if I ever see them or find out who they are. I would keep these sweeties but have 7 dog’s, 2 miniature donkeys, 4 horses, 3 miniature horses , a mini mule and a pony mule.. Yes, all rescues. I keep my vet in business. 🙂 I am with a

Well the home didn’t work out He was perfectly fine with all the dogs from Chihuahuas to 2 great pyrenees. He showed interest in the goats so that was a deal breaker . I spent 2 hours walking him around the goats and he seemed to accept them more. So the quest still remains… :'(
