Recently, a good Samaritan discovered two dogs who were obviously bonded friends, running loose in Hartsville, Tennessee. The dogs, a pit bull and a small mixed breed, were loaded into the woman’s car and she set out to find their owner.
Sadly, when the suspected owner was found, the dogs were rejected – the good Samaritan, whose name is Lani, began searching for a rescue group to take the dogs in. Again, her efforts were fruitless – nobody could (or would) help.
These rejected friends were fortunately in the hands of an animal lover – their “angel” took them to a veterinarian and had them fully vetted (including altering and vaccinations) as well as bathed and treated for fleas and ticks. Amazingly, the kind woman then went a step further and paid to put the dogs in boarding (she already has her maximum limit of dogs at her own home).
But these sweet friends need a real home to go to – not a boarding facility. Please share this article with the hopes that someone out there can find it in their heart to take these bonded dogs in. They didn’t ask to be rejected by their family and they need to go somewhere that they will be loved and adored.
