Utterly terrified dog

Surrendered dog’s utter terror will break your heart

Update – Mamas has been rescued!

A surrendered dog, named “Mamas” will quite literally break your heart with the utter terror she shows in a video taken at the animal shelter where she was recently turned in. The young Dogue de Bordeaux is literally shaking in fear…her eyes are sad and reveal her confusion.

On May 6, the Save SBC Shelter Pups Facebook page provided information about the frightened dog:

Mamas owners said they rescued her from a house that was being raided by police 2 years ago. Honestly, I think giving her up today was the kindest thing they ever did…Mamas is skinny, lived outside, has calluses, they overbred her, she shakes in fear, ran away on regular basis, never walked on leash and had to be carried into shelter. Mamas loves touch, pets and rubs!

Mamas needs to feel safe, loved and secure – moreover she deserves to receive unconditional love. Please help her find her special person by sharing her adoption information.

You want to hug them and tell them everything will be alright even though in your heart you know it most likely won’t. Praying for Mamas and sharing in New York. Too bad the rescuers that saved her from a police raid never bothered to love and take care of her. She would have been better served had they given her up sooner.

And on and on it goes! This dog has been living a sub par life and is being betrayed again! And I agree that getting away from these heartless jerks that view her as nothing more than a money making machine for them is beset for her! If they had one sliver of decency in them they would of found a rescue for her! I can only pray that she is saved and shown what love and being cared for properly is like! U can bet these so called owners will go out and acquire another helpless dog to mistreat and make money for them,is sickening! Praying for mamas, such an assinine name!

Moi aussi, mais je suis en France et pas les moyens de la faire venir chez moi, pauvre petit coeur brisé. Une vraie famille serait la bienvenue pour cet ange déchiré.

Thank you for the wonderful news. a freedom photo of her getting a big hug would be great, though your saving more pets is what’s most important. Please update on her health.

Those aholes did not rescue Mamas – they took her and used her for breeding and then dumped her. Mamas deserves the safe loving home she never had – PLEASE, this dog is a treasure and you will never regret saving her. She will give unconditional love.

Thank God for kind-hearted people who offset the worst of the worst abusive humans! I have a Shih-Tzu that is having feet trouble, which is a defect in the breed. I will do everything in my power to help my Gryphon to overcome this issue. Why are there people NOT willing to help their beloved pets. I just don’t get it.

I don’t understand why they are dumping her at the shelter after alledgedly having “rescued” her 2 years ago. There are no excuses they should have found her a good home!!

Am so dam sick and tired of dog owners with “NO BALLS” who would turn a dog into a kill shelter because it’s old, or it smells, or it’s blind. Give me a dam break!!!!!!!!!!!!!
