Update 2/10/17: Rescued (together!!)
Two dogs, who arrived separately as strays, have found comfort in one another behind the bars of their kennel run at the Miami-Dade Animal Services facility in Florida. The dogs, dubbed “Mason,” and “Kimmy,” are doing their utmost to make something good out of an otherwise terrifying situation.
Amazingly, the dogs were adopted to different homes, but they have been returned (through no fault of their own) and are once again in need of help. On Wednesday, the Facebook page, Urgent Dogs of Miami, explained:
How heartbreaking is this pic 💔 These two babies arrived separately as strays but found comfort in one another at the shelter. They were recently adopted to different homes, but through no fault of their own, were both dumped back this past week.
We would love to see these two angels rescued together after everything they’ve been through. Please share them fare and wide. The only hope they have is us!
You can help this duo find a new home by taking a moment to network their adoption information. Petharbor link for Mason here. Petharbor link for Kimmy here.

[…] An elderly dog, said to be 17 years of age, has been betrayed by her family, who allegedly claimed that she was now “too old” for them to keep.
