On Tuesday, a puppy was sealed in a plastic tub and abandoned alongside Interstate-90 in Washington state. According to KXLY News, a truck driver had pulled off near the Fishtrap exit when she noticed that a clear plastic container was moving.
She was shocked to find a black and white puppy, along with food, toys and the pup’s waste, inside of the tub. The good Samaritan bundled the pup up and transported him to the SCRAPS Adoption Center. Shortly after the puppy’s arrival, the adoption center introduced Facebook followers to Charley:
This morning SCRAPS would like to welcome Charley into our Foster program. He was found inside a sealed plastic container on the side of the road. Thanks to a very watchful driver for pulling over and rescuing this cutie.
Charley is not currently available for adoption – he is going to live at a foster home and that person will have the first option for adoption.
SCRAPS is currently looking for information on the person who placed the puppy in the bin and left it beside the road. If you have any information please call SCRAPS’ main number at 509-477-2532.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
