A beautiful, senior dog has recently been diagnosed with cancer. The eight-year-old, named Meredith, doesn’t have a home of her own and staff at the Seagoville Animal Shelter, in Texas, hopes to change that.
Days ago, a Facebook post was made on behalf of this lovely senior dog, who has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. The shelter wrote:
The vet said Meredith could live months or years, we just don’t know. She is still a very spunky girl, showing no signs of illness. She loves to eat, sleep, lounge around on a comfy bed close to her people. She plays well with other dogs and cats.
Adding:
Meredith is a loving girl with a fun and happy personality, and we just want her to live out her life, however long it may be, with love and comfort.
The shelter hopes to find Meredith a home which can accommodate her needs – including somewhere that she will not be required to “hold” her bladder for extensive periods of time (either a dog door to a securely fenced yard or with someone who is at home with her).
