Happy update 7/23/17 – Bobby and Brak were adopted together!

A busy animal control agency in Arizona has reached out via social media with a plea on behalf of two dogs who are bonded to each other. The Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) staff reached out for help for the bonded friends on July 18.

The shelter explained why they need help for these dogs:

Listen up! Bobby & Brak are trying to tell you something important- they want to STAY TOGETHER! With over 1,000 animals currently at our shelter, the difficult decision has been made to allow bonded pairs to be separated. We really would love for Bobby & Brak to find a forever home together.

And provided a brief description:

They were found together on South Mountain and have been through a lot. Both dogs are friendly, fun and sweet. Brak loves laps and fetch and Bobby loves splashing in the pool and pets. They’ve been waiting over a month for their special family to find them.

Adding,

Bobby & Brak are absolutely adorable with each other. Bobby is a great big brother and checks in on Brak from time to time. Brak clearly loves Bobby and can be seen snuggling up to him in their kennel at night.

You can visit them at the MC Animal Care, West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx. Bobby- A3949933 and Brak- A3949932

Please keep them together. I have a bonded pair and one doesn’t even go outside to potty unless the other goes with her. It would be devastating to either one of them if separated. There has got to be someone out there that would like the entertainment of these two playing together. Come on someone, step up and make these two part of your family. I have 6 dogs so it is not impossible to rescue more than one.
