A homeless dog, who has been living in a Georgia animal shelter, is ready for the next phase of his life. Lover, a pit bull mix, arrived at the Fulton County Animal Services facility unable to use his back legs – but he has been given special care and things are looking up.

On Saturday, Fulton County Animal Services posted a video to Facebook showing Lover’s progress, and the shelter noted that he is ready to leave the facility for a foster home (or better yet, a real home!):

When Lover arrived he was unable to use his back legs. With time and care he is slowly regaining strength and now enjoys his outdoor play time. This special boy is ready for his next adventure in a foster or forever home.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
