A gruesome and disturbing discovery was recently made just off of a road in Morgan County, West Virginia. According to Thursday’s Your 4 State News, the bodies of seven dogs, who had been fatally shot, were discarded in the town of Paw Paw, just off of Plains Road.
One of the dogs belonged to Benny King, who had been searching for his pet since Monday. King told the news station, “I think it’s pretty low and dirty of someone who just take it out on an animal like that to just kill them in cold blood, especially a dog.”
Why someone would kill, and dump, the dogs remains a mystery. The Morgan County Animal Control has instigated an investigation into the cruel situation.
The discovery of the deceased dogs is undoubtedly cruel, but not as unusual as one would hope. Not long ago, seven dead dogs were discovered along a rural road on the outskirts of Charlotte, North Carolina. Read more about that frighteningly similar situation at this link.

That should be PER DOG. 35 years minimum in jail and $700,000 fine. Of course, I’d like to see the monster(s) who shot these dogs suffer the same fate.

Why is it a mystery why someone would kill these dogs and dump them? They are a POS and killer, they don’t care if they are someone’s pet, they are just animals and something to kill. I hope they find out who did this and I hope that someone has enough sense to charge them and punish them, but I won’t hold my breath. My condolences for Mr King in his loss of his dog Sade, I can’t imagine finding one of my dogs murdered like this.
So now there is a serial killer of dogs! Why not, it makes sense! The incidents of violence against animals is on the rise! You might ask yourself why! It’s simple the laws are laughable! The penalties are downgraded by prosecutors playing let’s make a deal! Judges who think an animal has no worth! It’s small wonder that there is someone out there killing people’s pets and strays! But something to remember just as this piece of shit is doing this we are hunting him! See we hunt at nite and we don’t stop till we find who we are looking for!
Kathleen, you’re right! Now psychos can just take out their anger on defenseless animals since they are obviously COWARDS….and the laws just aren’t protecting them as they should be! Reform is needed!
That is down right terrible, why are there so many evil heartless people in this world, why do they kill innocent dogs who do nothing to them. I hope this low life are found and maybe should be short as well. RIP to these 7 dogs.

It comes as no surprise that there is a serial killer who preys on animals! The violence against animals has been on the rise for a long time! The main reason the laws! The prosecutors playing let’s make a deal! Finally the judges who feel the life of an animal is worth nothing! So there you have it the unholy trinity! The laws, the prosecutors, the judges!

It’s definitely messed up n I’d b angry too but if an animal is running at large unsupervised things like this happen. Other ppl don’t care about your dog. Some people are just cruel. Keep your dogs home n safe
