Surrendered after landlord refused
Spread the love

Two senior dogs have been surrendered to a busy California animal control agency which is completely full. The dogs, Pelusa and Princess, arrived at the Carson Animal Services facility on March 30 and now, they are completely confused about what has happened to their home and family.

A video was taken at the shelter facility and the dogs’ confusion and fear is readily apparent – time is of the essence for these senior dogs. Please help them find a new family who can take them home and show them love for the rest of their days.

The volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, wrote:

PELUSA and PRINCESS are precious sisters that were left at the Shelter because the Landlord wouldn’t allow them.. They need help and they have spent their lives together. Please SHARE, the Shelter is FULL and a FOSTER or Adopter would save them.

  1. I don’t understand, the “landlord won’t allow them”? Did the landlord all of a sudden say no dogs, then I would fight it, Did these people rent a new place that doesn’t allow dogs, then why did they rent the place? I would live in my car before I took my dogs to a shelter because a “landlord” told me no! This story is ridiculous, these people have obviously had these dogs a long time why do you all of a sudden need to be rid of them? Any way you look at this Carson is no place for them, I don’t want to hear “we don’t know the circumstances”.I don’t care, you don’t dump your dogs at a kill shelter like Carson using the excuse “your landlord won’t allow the dogs”! You find a place that will take your dogs and move!

    • Barkley’s mom, I totally agree with you. something wrong with this picture? poor little dogs, I hope they find a home soon!

  2. OMG!!!!! ABSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING! I’m telling you NOTHING,ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can part me from my fur babies!! NOTHING!!

  3. WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY NOT IN SAME PRISON CELL !? THIS ON TOP OF THEIR ALREADY FEAR & CONFUSION IS JUST PLAIN CRUEL PERIOD! DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY COMPACTION CAUSE IF DO THEN SHOW IT! FOR PETE’S SAKE THEY SPENT THEIR LIVES TOGETHER…

  4. I hear this excuse all the time. I won’t be surprised these people are moving to a place that does not allow dogs. As for myself, I would never give up my dogs for a new place. In fact, I wouldn’t even look at places that either do not permit dogs or impose restrictions on the size and weight of the dog.

  5. Did they move to a place that wouldn’t allow pets? Never, never would I move where pets are not allowed!!!! Assuming they had these 2 precious pups for years and ended up betraying them is pure evil.

Merci.

  6. I don’t know what the process is for out of state fosters or adoptions but I will foster and find them a home together…contact me please!
