She’s old and sick and needs a chance.
An older gal, estimated to be seven to nine years of age, has been at the Fulton County Animal Services facility in Atlanta, Georgia, for two weeks and during her time at the facility, she has fallen ill. The dog, dubbed “Hope,” deserves a chance to live, and to know love and happiness.
On the volunteer-run Facebok page created to help dogs at this shelter, a post was made on Hope’s behalf:
Despite being sick, the staff can tell that Hope is a very loving dog who longs to be in a home. She has wonderful manners, even when being bathed. However, she is also depressed here.

You could tell she was thankful for the one on one company. We all believe she would have a much speedier recovery if she was in a home. Does anyone have space for this sweet girl?
Hope is in the twilight of her life – she should be in a loving, comfortable home rather than alone at a frightening kennel run, away from people who adore her. Please help Hope find a loving home by sharing her adoption information.

She reminds me so much of the pittie dubbed Puppy Doe (if I recall the name correctly) who was brutalized by a POS four years ago and had to be euthanized. The POS who hurt her still hasn’t gone to trial.

She is just beautiful! And I agree,she resembles poor Puppy Doe who’s torture I will be forever traumatized and heartbroken over! I will NEVER forget Puppy Doe! I’m over the moon that beautiful Hope has been rescued! The seniors are always my favorite and it’s beyond horrible when they aren’t in a loving home at the last stage of their life!
