A scared German shepherd, estimated to be just a year of age, is currently being held at the Riverside County Animal Control facility in California. The dog, whose name is unknown, was taken in at the animal control facility on November 9 and she will be available for rescue or adoption on November 15, if her owner does not come forward to claim her

Do you recognize this dog? It is possible that she slipped out of her family’s home or yard. Hopefully right now someone is searching for her and they will find out that she has been picked up and is being held.

The following information is provided by the animal shelter for owners who have lost a pet:

This information was refreshed 9 hours ago and may not represent all of the animals at the Riverside Shelter.

  • If you are my owner, you must physically come to the shelter to claim me.
  • A personal identification (such as a driver’s license or other government issued ID) and proof of pet ownership (photos, license, microchip number, etc.) is required to redeem me. There are also fees like impound, board, vaccinations, and license that must be paid before I can go home.
  • If I am not claimed, after my stray holding period, I may be available for adoption on 11/15/2017.
  • We are unable to respond to phone and e-mail inquiries concerning individual animals.

Please take a moment to share this dog’s information – she is obviously terrified and wants to be in a home, not in a frightening animal control agency kennel.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
