British comedian and television producer, Ricky Gervias has slammed the fur industry in Poland as undercover video revealed the most heinous and heartbreaking cruelty inflicted upon foxes on a fur farm. The horrifying undercover footage shows foxes being killed as farmers hang the animals upside down and electrocute them with rods.

According to the organization, Animal Defenders International, the recently released video showed the brief harrowing experience of one fox who so much wanted to live. Tragically his bolt for freedom was unsuccessful. In the video, this young fox had been dragged by his tail from his filthy cage – the only way he lived his short life, and hung upside down and forced to bite into an electric rod. After he is thought to have been electrocuted, he is thrown onto a cart to be stripped of his coat and his skin, but this particular fox woke up and tried to run away. With all of the strength this poor fox could muster up after the first round of electrocution, he runs away, but the farmer catches up with him. The poor fox tries his best to avoid the repeated electrified rod, but despite his will to survive, his life is soon over when he is electrocuted again and dies.

In another disgusting video, a fox was left hanging upside down while his executioner spoke on his telephone. The videos shows foxes screaming in agony as they are attacked with the electrified rods – too often taking numerous attempts to make the animals bite and die. And so it dismisses the repeated claims of the fur industry claiming the deaths of the animals are painless, humane and quick.

Ricky Gervais voiced his opinion on social media calling out the industry for the most heinous behaviors towards animals:

“Fashion is a form of escapism for many but for the animals, imprisoned and denied their most basic needs, death is the only escape.”

According to the president of ADI, the animals live in confinement and are killed in front of each other – escalating the emotional and physical torture they must endure. They cling to their cages knowing they are going to suffer after watching others delivered the cruelest acts of torture.

The video below exposing the fur industry is extremely difficult to watch, but it is reality. Use discretion when viewing. This may be unsuitable for all viewing audiences.

It is estimated that more than one billion animals are bred and raised worldwide to be killed for their fur – including minks, rabbits and foxes. Most are killed by electrocution or skinned while still alive and thrown on a pile until their deaths can only be welcomed.

  1. Innocents suffer so . Please sign and share to stop the horror. Rickey Gervais is so dedicated. He has a pure heart. Watch what he has uncovered.

  2. I applaud RIcky Gervais for being vocally loud about animal cruelty in all ways – he has a BIG voice and is not afraid to use it – his dedication to the abuse of animals is so refreshing and more celebrities should take note. This is a man who cares about those who have no voice and is not afraid to speak out. THANK YOU MR. GERVAIS.

  3. What the FUCK is wrong with these ASSHOLES!!! Everyone of them need to have the same EXACT treatment that they give to these innocent babies!!!! This is SO INSANE!!!! THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!

  4. We are obligated to defend victims because there is no right to kill anything. These reprobates need to suffer the same fate as their victims, at least be put away in solitary for the rest of their useless lives.

  5. This is disgusting. Poor fox, they don’t have a chance. I will never buy fur again. Years ago when I was much younger and not thinking
g of how much an animal suffered so I could wear the fur I didn’t think about it!!! Faux furs is fine with me. No animal deserves this treatment and it is NEVER humane. Do not buy fur!!!!!

  6. Thank you Ricky Gervais for being a voice for this barbaric action. There should be more people taking up the cause of murder for their egos. This, along with the Yulen Dog Meat Industry, makes me ashamed to be called HUMAN. This should be put on public television daily in order to get people to stop supporting this kind of treatment of animals. If forced to see what these animals have to go through, MAYBE they would change their way of thinking. God knows how much I hate humans and this is one of the many reasons why.
