A puppy is recovering from injuries sustained in a terrible case of animal cruelty. According to a witness, the puppy was being beaten by boys, between the ages of eight and 10, on Norman Bridge Road in Montgomery County, Alabama. When someone approached – the young abusers fled, leaving their injured victim behind.
The three-to-four-month-old puppy, dubbed Love, has been taken in by the Montgomery Humane Shelter in Alabama. Love has a long road to recovery, but he is safely out of harm’s way.
On Sunday, an update was provided about the injured pup:
UPDATE: Love is being cared for by a local vet through the Montgomery Humane Shelter. He has multiple injuries, including a broken leg. Thank you to all who have donated for Love! He will need every penny. He is finally in a safe place, being cared for, and having his medical needs met, thank God.
Donations for this puppy’s injuries can be phoned into the animal shelter at (334) 409-0622. Please be sure to reference “Love,” when making a financial donation towards his care.
No word on Love’s abusers…

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”
