People drove by the young, terribly neglected dog on a busy highway in Southern California, but no one stopped to help – that is until a Good Samaritan turned around, stopped her car and wrapped the injured one-year-old dog in a sheet and brought her to safety.
Animal shelter volunteer Andrea Neyses is sharing Miracle’s story; a young dog so sweet and loving, despite what appears to have been a case of horrible neglect and cruelty. She describes a dog so grateful for a soft human touch; a dog who knows she was rescued. Andrea’s message also is asking for the public’s help reporting animal cruelty:
“Miracle had gotten away from a horrible home of neglect who allowed her to get in this condition in her short 1 year old life. Miracle is full of sores, cuts and mange? Yet shes so sweet and loving , grateful of touch. If you know someone doing this , a neighbor and you don’t report it , just do please?? This is cruel and no reason…I pray her terrible owners don’t come for her,” Andrea stated on her Facebook page after posting the dog’s heartbreaking photos.
