An injured Belgian shepherd was discovered this past weekend dumped outside of a garden of a private home in Orpington – a section of the London Borough of Bromley, United Kingdom. The dog, found by area residents early Saturday morning, had a catheter in her leg which had been wrapped in bandages. The dog was in a lot of pain, and it was clear she didn’t walk to the garden by herself; tragically it is suspected she had been left there to fend for herself in that condition.

According to the Express News, stated the dog had likely been dumped in an alleged act of  heartless animal cruelty since the dog was partially paralyzed when discovered. RSPCA deputy chief inspector Anthony Pulfer said the dog did have a micro-chip, but it had not been kept up to date. It is suspected the very sweet dog had recently been treated at a veterinarian hospital.

“The dog had no use of her front left leg and was sore on the right, so I took her straight to a vet who discovered she was suffering with paralysis of one front leg. I’m appealing to anyone in the area who recognizes her, and to any vets who have treated her recently, to come forward.

Unfortunately it is likely the dog will have to have her leg amputated. She has been transferred to the RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital for treatment where she will receive the finest care.

Anyone with information about this dog is asked to contact Inspector Pulfer at the RSPCA and call 0300 123 8018.

Help this sweet girl find justice. Be the voice of those who cannot speak for themselves.

I have a quadriplegic MacKitty who is loved beyond my ability to describe…….. There ARE people out there who WILL adopt disabled companions……..
All of my furbabies have been adopted with me and my husband knowing in advance there were medical issues….. not a problem, you just deal & appreciate each day.
Get better soon, poor precious furbaby. So far, humans have failed you in every way possible…………….. Truly hope you find a new furever home where you will be loved and a treasured family member…….
