Shelter dog out of time

Months ago, a young dog named “Bull” was surrendered to the Carson Animal Services facility in Gardena, California. Bull, just two years of age, has been at the shelter facility since September but now his time has run out.

This week, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, wrote:

CODE RED!! NEEDS OUT BY FRIDAY 5 PM or will be PTS!!

B on TEMP TEST!! SHY and AMAZING!!

Bull is described as a calm and quiet dog, but his prior owners reported an “incident” with one of their other dogs, so Bull has been deemed rescue only, despite the good score on his temperament test.

Bull has run out of time and he desperately needs the help of strangers who are willing to share his information if he is going to survive. Please help Bull make it out of this busy animal control agency by sharing his information.

  1. I’m surprised Bull has lasted this long at Carson. Will be sharing from New York, good luck Bull, I hope you find your way out!

  2. It’s a miracle that he’s been at that place since September – I’m surprised he wasn’t put down immediately. It sucks that he’s rescue only but if that’s what it takes to get him out alive, then okay.

  3. SHOCKING that they allowed him to live this long!!! Just don’t have words about this awful practice anymore!

  4. PLEASE some kind patient person needs to step up and save Bull. He deserves a nice safe home – he is a young healthy dog who just needs someone to care about him. I don’t know what the ‘incident’ was, but I am always leery of owners who dump their animals in kill shelters. Bull deserves a second chance.
