Update 8/10/17:  SAFE WITH POODLE & POOCH RESCUE.

A terrified, owner-surrendered dog is tearing the heart out of volunteers who are witnessing his terrible fear. The black and white dog, ID#A384699, is so frightened at the Orange County Animal Services facility in Orlando, Florida, that he is shaking in fear.

The volunteer-run Facebook page, Rescue Me Orlando Shelter Dogs wrote:

He’s an owner surrender sitting at the shelter, terrified!! Pacman (A384699) is only 4 years old and clearly has never known comfort or safety. He cowers in the kennel and tries as hard as he can to curl up in a ball & disappear. He shakes uncontrollably.

Adding:

Basically, he’s scared to death. As he should be…he’s in a high kill shelter. He’s heartworm positive and will need pledges for his treatment. Please help us share this baby!! Let’s find him some stability, safety and love

You can help this dog (Pacman) find comfort and safety by taking a moment to share his adoption information. Petharbor link here.

      • Sorry but why hasn’t he been given anything to help him calm down and stop shaking. I did that for fireworks with my dog.. I would be interested in driving half way to pick him up, but why not sedate him a little bit? Very bothered by this.

  1. Karma is a bitch, and you will have it soon enough for the owner! You are a heartless worthless person, and somedays someone wil l surrender or dump you too!

  2. Please, someone or a rescue please take this pup and give him the love and guidance he needs. He is so afraid and I can only imagine what he has gone through to make him feel this way. Give him a chance to show what he can really be. Even fostering can help with dogs like this especially if there are other dogs in the same house.

  3. What the Hell is wrong with Stupid People??? Surrendering their Dog to a High Kill Shelter. I hope and Pray that Karma comes and get you. Don’t you know that your Dog is Here on the Earth for the Life of your Dog. The more People I meet, the more I like my Dog.

  4. PLEASE RESCUE PACMAN – He is ONLY four years old and was dumped by some lousy owner who deserves to be mugged and dumped in an alley – Pacman is an innocent victim of an uncaring selfish subhuman – please rescue him as he is terrified and will make you a great companion – he is worth it.

  5. HEARTLESS POS OWNER WHO DOESN’T GIVE A SHIT ABOUT THIS DOG. HOW THE HELL CAN THEY WALK AWAY KNOWING WHAT THEY DID. USELESS SCUMBAG. TOO BAD THEIR PARENTS DIDN’T THROW THEIR ASS AWAY WHEN THEY WERE AN INFANT. THAT IS WHAT THE HELL IT FEELS LIKE. HERE IS ANOTHER REASON WHY ANIMALS OVER PEOPLE. THE ONLY DECENT HUMANS IN THIS WORLD ARE TRUE ANIMAL LOVERS OTHER THAN THAT PEOPLE ARE ASSHOLES.

  6. Rescued by POODLE & POOCH RESCUE OF FLORIDA on 8/10/17. Now named BERNIE (was Pacman)

    Safe and OUT!!

    What’s his story?
Can anyone meet me halfway after he’s treated?
    Thanks 🙁

  8. Thank you Poodle & Pooch Rescue of Florida. So happy he’s safe. Hoping he’ll have a new wonderful furever home.
