Out of time - time stamped for death
Spread the love

A dog who volunteers refer to as “very sweet and gentle,” a dog who wants to love and be loved (especially cuddle time) has been slated for death. One volunteer wrote of interactions with this beautiful brindle:

“Oh Ronda! What a sweet, cuddly, gentle girl. I would bring her home myself if I could. Ronda is an absolute cuddle queen–on our walks, every time I bend down even for a second, she immediately puts her head on my lap and snuggles up. She far prefers affection to running around, and will check in with me all the time while we’re walking.”

Unfortunately, the stress of life behind bars is taking a toll on Ronda – she has started to show signs of stress and mental deterioration. Sadly, the dog who wants to be loved has been overlooked and passed by and now, staff at the animal control agency has determined that she is on the list to be put down on January 9. Time has nearly run out for Ronda – but while she is alive, there is still help.

You can help Ronda by taking a moment to network her adoption information.

  1. Why are these dogs info never shared till the very last day??? If someone would get the word out more lives could be saved!!!!

      • Penny as much as I love all dogs. We have the same issues in my state. Many kill shelter dogs from down south are rescued and brought here when we have our own problems with dogs here that need adoption.

      • THE (ONE) (1) ( UNO) difference HERE LINDA with this thought process IS THE DOGS FROM (DOWN IN THE SOUTHERN STATES ) ARE already IN THE UNITED STATES in the FIRST PLACE that are NOT being BROUGHT OVER here from CHINA , LAOS , KOREA, ( with transport fees from over sea, VISA, HEALTH PERMINTS, ESCORT FEE”S, TRAVEL EXPENSES) all adding even more Costs !!! where as the dogs coming from the South (USA) don’t have these costs… Rescues are pulling the Wool over our EYES by doing this… I have NO problem with dogs BORN, RAISED , BREED, in the UNITED STATES ( EVEN PUPPY MILL BREEDER”S) that have been born here a part of our system FROM BIRTH going anywhere possible … I don’t even have a problem with CANADA… They have actually saved our ASS numerous times in taking dogs up there for adoption!!! ONE DOG IN A USA SHELTER dies FOR EVERY ONE DOG BROUGHT IN FROM OVER SEAS ! WHY because there aren’t enough homes for the ONE”S BROUGHT IN and the ONR”S WE ALREADY ARE TRYING TO FIND HOMES FOR…

      • I was sure you knew the difference BUT wanted to explain so that EVERYONE reading would understand That It TAKES LIVES of DOGS that are already here , born and raised that ACTUALLT do REALLY get KILLED when THE HUMANE SOCIETY (ACTUALLY USE THE MONIES DONATED HERE IN THE USA) for transporting those dogs from EVERYWHERE ELSE in the WORLD back to the USA to be vaccinated, treated for illnesses , spay, neuter, housed , ved, vetted,, while the dog in the next cage , born here could very well NOT be PLACED in a home because the RESCUE wants to SPOUT OFF how they saved a needy Korean Dog that was going to be eaten , they don’t bother to say Well the family that took this dog didn’t take one that was born here. thus this ALSO deserving dog doesn’t get adopted and is PUT DOWN >>> HOW IS THIS FAIR!!!

  3. I have one just like her…from the Huntsville, AL Animal Control. He is a Tennessee Tree Dog. We found another female like him in The Villages, FL. They are both sweet, cuddle dogs. High energy so you need to walk them and play with them. They like other dogs. They like other kids.
This sweet girl would be a welcome addition to your home. Please save her.

  4. Please tell me this dog was not killed. For GOD sake someone save her. She is gorgeous. Suck. Sweet face. ❤️????????????????????

  5. I totally agree too, someone needs to notify us earlier so we can share and net work thru the websites and try to find rescues.this dogs are all beautiful! Are they still alive?

USA – NYC ACC : #DeathRow. Don’t let her die. Seriously nice guy here …
TO BE DESTROYED 01/10/17 A volunteer writes: Silk is affectionate to the extreme. As we walked, she would whimper and jump up to be petted. It was quirky, yet endearing. Once I started petting her she would sit right down. She begged for constant petting during the whole walk. She’s most definitely a “people-dog!” Another volunteer writes: Silk is just as exquisite as her name suggests, a supermodel with a winning smile and a heart big enough to smother everyone she meets with lots of love and an endless supply of cuddles. Happy to go outside and take care of her business, Silk looks to other dogs with smiling eyes and lived in harmony with a pittie brother but her number one focus is spending as much time as possible with (and on!) her beloved people. She’s anxious and needy and wants to be close at all times so walking can be a bit of a tricky manoeuvre as she’d much rather jump up for a hug than stroll down the street but off-leash she sits on command, takes treats gently and has no objection to being dressed up in a coat and posing for photos either. Accustomed to playing well with children of all ages, we’re told Silk never guards her toys or food and knows a host of commands including come, give paw and leave it. She still needs time, love and training to be her best self but you could search the world over and not find a more affectionate and adoring girl than Silk. Come feel the love at our Manhattan Care Center today
