A dog belonging to man in Cecil County, Maryland, suffered grievous injuries after being stabbed with a “large knife” in his neck. According to Delaware Online, 25-year-old Reginald L. Farley II stabbed his dog after the pit bull got into a fight with a neighbor’s German shepherd.

Late Wednesday night, a trooper was getting information about the dog fight from the owner of the German shepherd when he heard a dog crying – when he to a nearby home went to investigate, he encountered Farley, who told him that the dog was dead.

After the trooper asked to see the dog, he discovered that the dog was still alive, and that he had a large knife protruding from the neck. The dog was too seriously injured to be saved – the trooper dispatched the dog with his service weapon after getting Farley’s permission.

Farley was arrested and he is facing two counts of animal cruelty.

  1. He left a knife sticking out of the dogs neck? What a disgusting filth and maggot. Justice the way of the criminals that only know how to kill/destroy animals. Hope they throw him in jail and the inmates take care of him.

  2. Yeah, this guy looks like he is working with 1/2 a brain cell. I may be giving him too much credit with that much. RIP to the unfortunate dog that crossed paths with this dipstick.

  3. The trooper “dispatched the dog” after getting Farley’s permission????? Are you kidding???? Why was this poor baby not rushed to a vet E.R. to see if he could be saved???? The trooper should be punished too.

    • The odds of this dude being able to afford an ER visit and surgery, and blood transfusions, etc. for this pit bull are slim to none. And speaking from experience, very few vets go the extra mile for a pit bull ESPECIALLY if it has been in a fight with another dog. My pit bull was the victim of an attack by a 200 pound dog, my regular vet was out of town, all the vet on duty wanted to do was put her down for being “dog aggressive” – even though she is not. And she wasn’t even that injured, all she needed was some stitches.

  4. Looks like a nut case. Poor dog ended up in his hands. Hope there is justice in the courts where this happened. I suggest a public watch on the prosecution. RIP furbaby. You shouldn’t have been killed for having a fight. When Reginald L. Farley is in jail hope there are a lot of Bubbas to dish out some justice.

  5. What a disgusting, UGLY heartless POS!!!! A good punishment for him .. is stab him in the neck and let the bastard bleed out

  6. Watch out Reginald Farley – YOUR day is coming – may it be as cruel and vicious as what you did to your dog – I hope they find your worthless ass in a filthy gutter and no one cares.

    • He should have shot and killed the perp stating he came after him with the knife. the cop is not a vet and should be reprimanded for killing the dog rather than calling for help

  7. Too bad he was not ” dispatched ” and put down the same as he did to his animal… What a waste of life his one is… surprised he doesn’t have the Middle finger tattooed on his head!!!
