“You gotta be stern,” is what Roberto Guzman, of Magna, Utah, told a reporter with Good 4 Utah News when he was asked about a video which appears to show him repeatedly punching and kicking his pit bull, “Blue.” Guzman claimed that the disturbing, and damning video, which was taken by a neighbor, was taken out of context – he claims that he was merely trying to get a “piece” of a baby bird out of the dog’s mouth.
Guzman’s explanation was not sufficient for him to escape charges – according to KSL News, the 27-year-old was charged with a third-degree felony (torture of a companion animal) on Friday. The dog, who was supposedly just being provided with “stern” discipline from his owner, was discovered to be suffering from eight broken ribs and a broken femur after he was seized and taken to a veterinarian.
Guzman has a history of violence – not long before the dog beating was caught on video, he was convicted of assault for a domestic incident and before that, he was convicted of felony drug possession and assault on a police officer.

Guzman needs a beating every day, and locked up for life.
Abusing his two dogs every other day he needs to have all his ribs broken and femur as well. Hopefully the two dogs were taken away and rescued!
This subhuman piece of trash named Roberto Guzman needs to get EXACTLY what he gave – ‘stern discipline’ does NOT include breaking an animal’s ribs and leg – he is a hunk of garbage disguised as a man – he has proven his inability to act like an adult – just put him away and leave him – he does not deserve anything less than a jail cell – which I bet he is very familiar with. The ONLY care I have is for this poor dog who deserves MUCH better than to be stuck with this bastard.
