For a half hour, while a man enjoyed a meal with his family inside of an air-conditioned restaurant in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a puppy was left to suffer inside of a hot SUV. According to WSB-TV Atlanta, a good Samaritan summoned the police who had to break out a window to the vehicle to save the puppy from dying from heat stroke.

Man may be deported after leaving dog in car

The puppy’s owner, identified as Freddy Dorantes, is now facing a charge of animal cruelty and he has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The puppy, who was taken to an air-conditioned area by the responding officer, is now at the local animal control.

The pup will be held until the courts determine ownership.

  1. Forget about deporting the POS. Instead, lock him in a hot car, with no cool air, or water, and let him suffer there. What is it with all the people who leave their pets locked in hot cars that feel like ovens, and think that they will be fine? Makes me wonder if they are brain dead.

    • Wouldn’t that be a nightmare if he gets ownership back! YIKES. I say get rid of the dumb heartless bastard; ship him the hell outta here. We have enough abuse here, we don’t need people that abuse animals immigrated here too. Don’t need em.

  2. Another moron having dinner with his family in an air conditioned restaurant while the family puppy is outside in the hot car dying! Deportation sounds just fine to me, but make sure his whole family goes with him! They obviously didn’t care about the pup in the hot car either!
