After months of searching for the man who stabbed an 8-month-old puppy in the back, the Humane Law Enforcement Unit of the SPCA and Yonkers Police arrested the culprit.
According to the New York Daily News, Yonkers resident Deshawn Williams was arrested on Tuesday and charged with animal cruelty. For months, Williams had been hiding from authorities after an anonymous caller had notified police on January 3 regarding a dog that had been stabbed on New Year’s Day. The pit bull puppy was found at Williams’ Victor Street home and had been left by itself with no medical attention the SPCA reported.
The puppy was treated for a deep stab wound to his back on the left side at the Central Animal Hospital and later transferred to the Yonkers Animal Shelter. And for the good news … the puppy has since recovered and has been adopted.

Why why do these men think it’s ok to use and abuse animals, throw them away when they’re no longer useful,and/or mail them before dumping them???Seems to be southern rednecks and black dudes who don’t care about lives!!
At least they kept looking for the POS and finally found him. Let’s do the same to him – stab him and leave him to die.
Keep us posted on prosecution please. Glad the pup is in a new home and safe.
I hope the asshole goes straight to PRISON!!!
Glad he’s been caught.
I hope somebody in jail stabs that fucker right in his ugly face
