A dog named “Cassy,” is gripped with fear inside of her kennel run at an animal shelter in Tarboro, North Carolina. Photos of the hound reveal her utter terror – it is apparent that she can sense the danger that she is in.

Cassy is being held at the Edgecombe County Animal Shelter – she was picked up as a stray on June 12. According to the volunteer-run Facebook page which networks homeless pets at this facility, Cassy will let people touch her, but she is terrified.
