A kind bus driver in Buenos Aires, Argentina has been praised for his kindness after allowing a pair of very frightened stray dogs ride on his bus while a severe thunderstorm pounded the area. The unidentified driver couldn’t bear the thought of the dogs suffering in the cold and the wet on Tuesday, and stopped his bus to pick up the little dogs along the side of the road where they stood shivering and scared.
According to News.com.au, he even let the dogs cuddle at his feet. Although dogs are not allowed on the bus line, the owners of the company praised him on his compassion.
“You cannot take animals in public transport; we are strict with the rules, but a case like this is considered because it is solidarity,” the company posted.
The photos have been shared more than 20,000 times since hitting Facebook, noting that passengers on the bus were also truly touched by the man’s compassion. One passenger overheard the man speaking quietly to the dogs calming them down – even as if they were his own dogs. The viral post read:
“HOY EN MEDIO DE LA TORMENTA CHOFER DE LA LINEA 53 LEVANTO UN PERRITO LOS HEROES NO TIENEN CAPA GRACIAS POR AYUDAR A UN CALLEJERITO”Translated:“Hurlingham – Buenos Aires Actions highlighted today in the middle of the storm, driver of the line 53 I can pick up a puppy.
