An adorable and extremely clever German shepherd puppy knows his own crate as jail. “Go to jail” the puppy’s owner would yell, and the seven-month-old would run into his crate and sit. Ironically, Sonny’s owner was subsequently arrested and landed in jail. A volunteer from the Carson Animal Care Center in California tells the dog’s sad story:
“His owner is in jail, and he abandoned this puppy he called Baby Boy. His neighbors brought him into the shelter, and they say he is a smart, sweet, amazing puppy great with everyone. He is also crate trained, and when his owner wants him to go into his crate he would say ironically “GO TO JAIL” and Baby Boy would do it.. He needs help fast.”
