Update 3/9/17: Rescued by Harlee’s Angels!

A cancer-stricken dog is being held at a busy San Bernardino, California, animal control agency. The dog, whose name is unknown, is described as a friendly boy by staff at the city shelter, but for all intents and purposes, he is alone.

A woman advocating for this homeless dog wrote:

The Shelter said he’s friendly. Staff hasn’t been able to get a picture of the cancer. The emergency vet said that there is an open wound – the vet said this dog is 6-years-old, Petharbor says 7.  Regardless, He’s a fairly young dog who I hope has some living still to do.  It’s possible he is out of time – or he has limited time, or it’s possible he can be treated. Either way he deserves to live the rest of his life, safe, loved, warm and cared for.

This dog’s stray hold period is not officially up until January 31, but the shelter is willing to release him as a medical foster. Please take a moment to network this dog’s adoption information and help him find someone who will care for him.

  1. Please read this article about a very sweet dog that doesn’t have a name. Let’s call him George. The shelter says tbat George bas an open wound and that it’s cancerous. It is not known what type of cancer. George needs out of the shelter asap. The shelter is willing to let George out with a medical foster for treatment. In addition to the medical foster, he will need pledges for his care, including medical care, and a rescue group. Hopefully George will be able to get out before the shelter closes for Sunday and Monday. Please help him. Thank you.

    • You are awesome I sure hope you could get him. I’m sure they could start a go fund me to help with his medical expenses. I would definitely donate. Please keep us informed

    • Hi Linda! I hope you were able to call the shelter about this cancer stricken dog! Please tell the shelter to use Tahitian Noni juice on the wound. Not only will it heal the abscess fast, it will kill any cancer there! They (or you if you can foster) can give it internally too. We had success healing a dog of lymphoma and a lady with lung cancer and a man with stomach cancer using Noni juice. Using a bit of baking soda, a little water and maple syrup will also heal the dog as it will change the acidic level to alkaline. Cancer can’t live in an alkaline environment.

    • Please keep us updated if you do get him out. Also if you could send us a Happy Trails walk out of the shelter. That would be so Awesome. Thank you and have a Blessed day my dear.

  2. Please give this dog a name other than animal ID number A501082…Every dog deserves a name…And if these are his last days he deserves all the dignity that he’s probably never known… Prayers that he finds love very soon.
