In San Antonio, Texas, two bonded seniors were surrendered by their owner. Sadly they are way overdue and have already been spared once from having been humanely euthanized. How can these two homeless seniors not break your heart?

457842 Vicky and 457843 Nanny are two older gals who need a loving home to live out their senior years. Maybe it will take some time for these girls to warm up to a new person in their lives, but isn’t it worth it to have such beautiful companions? Vicky is described as a Staffordshire  terrier blend and about eight-years-old weighing 40 pounds. Her best friend Nanny, is an American bulldog blend who is 13-year-old and weighs 35 pounds. Don’t let them lose their lives in a shelter backroom.

Follow their Facebook pages here and here. Share their stories with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Their owner let them down – we can do better together.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your having your favorites among those to “see first.

  1. Share, share share people! These two ladies need a home before the holidays, they should be able to see Christmas alive with a family!

  2. PLEASE HELP these two pitiful seniors! If YOU LOVE “ALL” Animals. PLEASE HELP THEM NOW ASAP! PLEDGE ANY AMOUNT ON THEIR FACE BOOK PAGE click on the ”here & “here” and make and honor a pledge to SAVE THEIR PRECIOUS LIFE’S. My heart is BROKEN form such an INHUMANE world of worthless people. I realize some people have to move and loose their jobs, things happen. BUT a lot of the NEGLECT, ABUSE, TORTURING and KILLING of pets, animals are from SICK MINDED INHUMANE HEARTLESS so-called humans!

  3. Oh come on someone must live in the area that could care for these girls. They are a nice smaller size, easy to handle. My pit bulls are big 65 pounds and over. Older dogs are so appreciative when rescued. I imagine they would be very well behaved in the house.
