Update 7/27/17: Wrinkles was returned to his owner

Found wandering the streets of Los Angeles and picked up by Animal Control on Sunday, animal advocates continue to question why neighbors and area residents never reported the condition of Wrinkles wherever he once lived.  The condition of the  13-year-old Chinese Shar Pei is shocking; is there no one who ever cared for this dog? And in this case, he was lucky to wind up at the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter. At the very least he will be fed and safe; at least for now.

Click here for the dog’s adoption listing. “My name is Wrinkles and I am described as a neutered male, tan Chinese Sharpei. The shelter thinks I am about 13 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jul 23, 2017.” For more information about this animal, call Los Angeles County Animal Control – Baldwin Park at (626) 962-3577. Ask for information about animal ID number A5088201.

A Facebook page to follow the plight of this dog can be found here.Share this dog’s photos and story with friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. He is expected to be available for adoption on August 2.

Baldwin Park shelter  is open for adoptions seven days a week. The facility is located at  4275 Elton Street, Baldwin Park, California 91706. Phone: 626 430 2378.

  1. Please don’t let his life end here! He has the right to know what it is to be loved and cared for! The fact that no one paid attention to him is not unusual! Humans don’t want to know!

  2. I think this poor baby WAS a member of a family at one time (he was neutered)…….

The ? Is how did he end up on the streets?????

Was he lost, turned loose…… Too bad furbabies can’t yet speak “Human Languages”…….. where is Dr. DoLittle when we need him???

I hope he can be rescued (& enjoy his remaining years as a beloved and treasured family member)……

All furbabies deserve to be as loved and treasured as my precious MacKitty………

Breaks my heart to learn of seniors who are spending their last days in a shelter (afraid and alone AND worst of all, unloved as they die)……….

  3. This has me in tears!! This poor old dog should be laying in a comfy bed with a loving owner! This poor old dog has been suffering and not one human cared! Praying for a rescue quickly,he needs out of that shelter! Poor poor bsby

found on your web blog. My family and I are seriously thankful for the generosity and for presenting me
the potential to pursue my personal chosen career path.

    your website.

  5. Thanks , I’ve just been looking for information about this topic for ages and yours is the greatest I have discovered so far.
But, what about the bottom line? Are you sure concerning the source?

  6. You really make it appear so easy together with your presentation but I in finding this matter to
be really one thing that I think I might by no means understand.
It sort of feels too complicated and extremely
vast for me. I’m having a look ahead to your subsequent submit, I’ll attempt
to get the hang of it!
