In Phoenix, the police are investigating a report from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control concerning a 2-month-old husky puppy brought to the shelter on Friday night with a severe skull fracture and bleeding.
According to the Facebook page for the organization, the puppy was brought in unconscious and comatose. Two Pups Wellness Fund and Arizona Animal Rescue Mission stepped up to help, and the puppy was immediately transferred to the Phoenix Dog/Cat/Bird Hospital. The people who surrendered the puppy gave the shelter false information, and the police are now following leads to identify the person(s) responsible for the horrendous abuse.
“The hospital is cautiously optimistic that he will recover. We will update the public of his condition,” MCACC posted and are relying on the public and media to share the news and help find the responsible party.
Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC) – Adopt at pets.maricopa.gov any medical donations can go to Arizona Animal Rescue Mission; they along with Two Pups Wellness Fund are handling the expenses currently but this will be quite costly.

Why did this scum do this to this poor puppy. What could the pup have done to provoke this monster from injuring this pup so severely. “Big,strong man/woman” can overpower a pup and do this much harm. When found, whoever it is, needs to be made an example to all animal abusers nation will and the federal government must get involved in uniform sentencing of these scum. If they have no problem doing this to a dog, a human would mean nothing to them.
Absolutely disgusting!! The people who surrendered the pup must be found and charged with animal cruelty. To hurt a defendless 2 month old furry baby is despicable and should not go unpunished.
I do NOT understand how anyone can harm a helpless baby (an 8 week old puppy IS a baby)…… Whatever POS did this could just as easily harm a human…..
This POS needs to be found & locked up forever…… lose the keys…… only way out of prison is in a coffin….. afterwards they have a reserved spot in Hell where they will burn forever for their cruelty (nice if they got there sooner)……

Another innocent victim of human maggot puke – anyone who surrenders an animal should have to provide a driver’s license or other legal information – these trash that hurt this little puppy desperately need to be held responsible for the cruelty they inflicted – unfortunately it is illegal to kill people because some really need to be eliminated. I hope this little one survives and gets the safe loving home it never had.
