A young German shepherd, still just a pup, was left with devastating injuries after being struck by a vehicle and left alone on the side of a road. The dog, dubbed “Clover,” not only suffered a broken leg, but her spinal cord was damaged enough that she was paralyzed.

Fortunately, there is a silver lining to Clover’s otherwise sad tale. One week after the devastating incident, which happened in June 2016, Clover was taken under the wing of Coastal German Shepherd Rescue – the pup, who has maintained a sweet and friendly disposition despite her pain, has been undergoing physical therapy to help her regain the use of her body.

For months, Clover received veterinary care and physical therapy, but her recovery lacked something crucial – the comforts of a real home. Clover was living in boarding – life improved immensely when a foster home was located in March 2017.

Clover blossomed in her foster home  – no longer crying for attention in a lonely kennel run and longing for the companionship that she desperately needed.

Unfortunately, things will soon be unraveling for this stunning German shepherd – her foster home situation is temporary and Clover needs a new home to reside in (ideally a permanent home). Please help share Clover’s story and help her find the family who can give her all of the love and attention that she deserves.

(Angel’s Bark Dog Rescue and Coastal German Shepherd Rescue are working together to help Clover receive everything that she needs for a full and happy life)

I wish I could step forward for this beautiful girl! She looks like my Shepard puppy Wolfe who my father gave me when I entered Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine

Clover has suffered way too much – PLEASE let there be some kind compassionate person who will open their heart and home to this beautiful dog – she deserves the safe loving home she obviously never had.
