Dudley, a 9-month-old Staffordshire and Argentine Mastiff mix puppy deserves a chance; the chance to call a forever home his – a chance to prove to someone what a great dog he is and a chance to be some lucky person’s companion animal.
Dudley’s life started out with some hard knocks. His mom was found abandoned in a hospital parking lot just before Thanksgiving 2016. She was extremely emaciated when Animal Coalition Unlimited took her in. However, on December 22, 2016 she gave birth to Dudley and his nine siblings. All of them were healthy thanks to the Coalition and a very caring and attentive vet. Today Dudley is a 9-month-old, energetic puppy. Although small in size, he is all muscle and weighs approximately 56 pounds. At his full growth, he’ll be about 70-75 pounds.
Dudley is currently in a temporary foster setting but will need a long-term foster or an adopter. He is described as loving car rides and makes a well-mannered travel companion. He gets along well with the adult female dog who lives with his foster mom and some cats but does not do well with other male dogs. He also shares the residence with two young boys ages 7 and 10 whom he adores. He will do well in a home with children over 5 years of age. In addition to his love of kids and car rides; Dudley takes treats very gently and is extra careful when taking them from the hands of children. He is crate trained and almost 100% potty trained.
Dudley needs a lot of daily exercise to keep him entertained and happy. He loves long walks and the opportunity to run in a fenced in secure area. A fenced in yard is a must for fostering or adopting this high energy pup. When he doesn’t get enough exercise, or is left alone for long periods of time he becomes depressed, bored or frustrated. However, he is not hyperactive, just curious about his environment. Dudley will do well in a home with an adult female dog to set an example for him as well as a home with a large yard or a country setting. He comes with his no pull specialty harness and all of his favorite toys.

Dudley, like any other puppy born into this world deserves a chance. Although his mom was neglected and dumped in a parking lot, she was given a second chance by the rescuers who took her in. Please be the one to give Dudley his second chance at life.

Went into their face book page and couldn’t find Dudley, however, there were many other dogs. Positive thoughts going out to Dudley in finding a loving, forever home.
