A dog who was surrendered by his owner in mid-September has given up all hope of ever leaving his lonely kennel run at the Downey Animal Care Center in Los Angeles, California. Batman, a two-year-old pit bull, is not only depressed, he is out of time.
An Instagram post on Batman’s behalf explains the dog’s dire situation:
He is not doing well and Batman’s health is declining at the shelter. He is stressed & depressed #urgent Batman is listed Euthanasia on Monday. He has lost all hope. Please SHARE
Batman is described as a friendly “doofus” who craves attention – Batman is a young boy who should have years of his life left to live. Please help share his plight and save his life – he deserves all of the help that he can get.

I hear you loud and clear Tim. This poor dog being a pit bull has little to no chance and since Downey has a lousy reputation for putting this breed out to be seen by the public THEY are as guilty as the sewer slime who dumped him.
He needs a family. Please someone– I am too old . It wouldn’t be fair. This guy , I’ll bet is a doofus, clown and goofball. He is a beautiful mixture, mostly lab it looks like. Maybe some pibble but mostly love and devotion. Someone’s best friend. Please GET HIM OUT. IF Rescue takes him keep me informed. I have a small donation.
