Dog lovers desperate to save hopeless shelter dog

Update: Rescued! Helping Paws 22

Dog lovers across the nation are desperate to save a hopelessly sad shelter dog named Laila. The six-year-old boxer is being held at the Miami-Dade Animal Services facility in Florida and she is clearly heartbroken.

On Wednesday, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Urgent Dogs of Miami, posted a video of the sad dog, along with a few words about her current situation:

PLEASE HELP THIS SAD, HEARTBROKEN GIRL😢 A volunteer went to visit LAILA A1435947 again today and found this angel with her head down, hardly even reacting 😭 This poor girl had a home, but now finds herself in a shelter, heartbroken and depressed and wondering what she did to deserve this

Adding:

PER PREVIOUS OWNER: she’s good with dogs, not sure of cats, and great with kids between the ages of a year old to 8 years old.

Did you know that if you want to get updates from a Facebook page, you need to do more than “like” it? To get recent postings in your Facebook feed, you must also hover your mouse over the word “following” and then click “see first” from the drop-down menu. You may want to check back with your favorite pages on occasion because Facebook often changes your settings, no longer having your favorites among those to “see first.”

Deformed dog or not? Strange photo is driving people crazy! I’ll admit, this one took me awhile to figure out.

Please save this poor sad girl. Her video is just heartbreaking. Laila’s heartless owner should have either re-home or surrender Laila to a boxer rescue and not dump her in a city shelter.

When you get a dog it is for life they are not something you get on a whim. They are no different the your own child. These stories just piss me off. Someone has to help!!!

MAKES MY BLOOD BOIL FOR SOMEONE SO HEARTLESS! THEY THINK BECAUSE SHE’S A DOG THAT SHE HAS NO FEELINGS OR NO VALUE…PEOPLE WAKE UP! DOGS HAVE FEELINGS AND PAIN JUST LIKE US, AND ONCE YOU HAVE THEM YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO TAKE CARE OF THEM TILL THE END!

Heartbreaking. Laila needs a family. Children would be better than not. She is a gentle love. Please help her if you can. Even boxer rescue if there is one in Florida.
