Surrendered shepherd tried to stay with his owner

Devoted dog doesn’t want to leave owner while being surrendered

No time…no room…can’t keep – so many reasons, but none truly matter to the dog who is left behind. On May 12, a five-year-old German shepherd named “Hitch,” was walked into the San Bernardino City Animal Control, in California, and handed over to strangers.

A video was captured showing Hitch as he was being surrendered – in the short clip, it is readily apparent that Hitch is devoted to the person who has chosen, for one reason or another, to let him go.

How can such a sweet boy be treated so poorly by his human? Wish I wasn’t on the east coast, if he got along with my other babies, I would take him.

No room????? MOVE – I have absolutely no use for people and their stupid excuses – IF you had this dog for five years and NOW you have no room – a whole lot of BS – Hitch deserves much better than to be dumped in a shelter that will kill him within 72 hours – How could you walk out on this dog who is obviously devoted to you? Concrete heart.

Dear God, how do people do this to their pets??????? I do not like leaving my dogs in the morning when I go to work…and they have a nice home and big window to look out of every day. How do you do this to your loyal and loving dog???? I guess you can’t make sense out of nonsense! Disgusting!!! I would take this dog, but I do not believe this place will allow the dog to be sent out of town.

????☹️???????????????????????????? So sad and heartbreaking that people can betray and so easily turn their backs on their devoted, loving pets. Pets are family members, and it makes me extremely angry and sad that people can be so heartless, cruel, cold, and despicable to surrender their loving, devoted, and innocent pet because of a lame, pathetic, and ridiculous excuse. Pets are forever, not just when it’s convenient, or until you change your mind. The sub-humans that betray their pets are disgusting scumbags and don’t deserve the loving companionship of a precious pet! I hope and pray that Hitch is placed in a caring, loving forever home where he will be loved, appreciated and cherished for the wonderful, loving, and beautiful friend he is. I pray Hitch is blessed with a loving family, and has a joyful, healthy, secure, safe, and happy life. Good Luck and God Bless you, beautiful Hitch, I’m praying for you!!! ♥️ ???? ????????????????????♥️????????????????????????????????????????????♥️
