Homeless senior dog in California

Update: Rescued!

Is perhaps the cutest, homeless senior dog alive sitting behind bars at an animal shelter in Stockton, California? Possibly (though most dog moms and dads will defend their own companion’s good looks as “the best”).

Meet 10-year-old “Red,” who is reported to be a Chow Chow mix (maybe with a Welsh Corgi or other short-leg breed?). Red is at the Stockton Animal Shelter and he is waiting to leave his kennel run, and head to a home.

Red is undeniably cute, but he appears to be sad – who can blame him? Please take a moment to network Red’s adoption information and help him find a home.

My name is RED.

I am a male, brown and red Chow Chow mix/The shelter staff think I am about 10 years old.

    • he is beautiful. If I had more room I would adopt him. I am so sorry sweety I pray you find a loving caring forever home to spend the time you have left.hugges and cuddled little one.someone please save this little one. Give him a good caring loving home.i have a lot of animals and do not have any more room for anymore. Otherwise I would adopt him .

  1. Someone, maybe a caring senior, can find it in their heart to help another senior. Red would be a great companion, calm, loving, caring, sweet, everything you want in a companion. Red needs help now. Don’t let this sweet boy die in there scared, alone, unwanted, unloved. He doesn’t deserve that.
