Is the photo of a shaved Husky cool or cruel? When a photo of a fully-shaved husky (except for his head) went viral on Twitter this week, people were stunned, and many just didn’t know how to react to the more than “freaky” picture. It was tweeted on Thursday by a Twitter user who goes by Omona Kami. He wrote:

“If you’ve never seen a husky with absolutely no body hair then here you go. Enjoy”.

And so began the Internet discussion. It didn’t take long before comments started to roll in. Some people thought the photo had been a product of “photoshop” while others defended the dog’s owner stating the pooch may have been prepared for surgery, had fleas or that he may have rolled in tar or glue – making it necessary to shave his coat. Many more people, however worried his coat had been shaved as a joke.

“This isn’t cute. It will not keep them cooler in the summer, it will permanently damage their coat, increases the risk of sunburn and skin cancer, it will not decrease their shedding, it will not help with your allergies,” one person commented.

According to the South Florida Siberian Husky Rescue, the advice not to shave your dog comes strongly worded:

“… The Siberian Husky should never be clipped / shaved except in medical emergencies. Yes, there are “professional” groomers out there who will tell you to shave your Husky. They will even do it without asking your consent! There are vets who will tell you to shave your Husky. These vets are uninformed about the breed.

Dogs do not sweat like humans. Their cooling process is done via panting from the mouth, sweating at the paws and cooling the blood in their ears. Shaving the dog does nothing to keep the dog cool. It just makes the human feel better when looking at the coated dog.
The Siberian Husky has little to no pigmentation in its skin. If you shave the Husky, you expose it to the sun without protection. Now you have a dog that can come up with a variety of skin problems including skin cancer. Another reason to NOT clip / shave your Husky is that the fur acts as a protection against insects and parasites. You remove that protection the dog is exposed to even more insect problems than he would have had if he had been allowed to keep is protective coat.

Furthermore, if you clip / shave a Husky it will eventually ruin the coat and disturb the proper shedding process. Resource: Ted Greenlee”

Double coated dogs shed; brush them everyday, but be realistic there will be hair in your home. If shedding in a home is a problem, then the Siberian Husky is not a dog for you.

What do you think? Was it cute or cruel?

    • It’s obvious that it was done at a professional groomers!!!
The groomers should have their license taken away!!!
If the owner didnt care about the dog, why would the dog be in a groomers???
      Ignorant statement!

      • yes you did make an ignorant statment. on what grounds exactally would the groomer lose his liesence. his job is to except payment to sheer and groom a dog into yes, a form unlike found in nature. because the dog does not live in nature. he lives indoors with a human.

On what grounds do you say the owner didnt care !?
The real truth JT is that every and any dog can be sheered down and is for a verity of reasons but most of all as a fashion style. All of them even huskies. regardles of what the above mentions

so Jt could you explain on what grounds the groomer should have his license taken away?
        no answer hah!?
just like getting pissed off over someone elses bizz ? and being a snot to a stranger who asked a simple question?
        bad boy.

      • Oh… I have an answer! Dont count me out. The animals are brought their because they are supposed to know all breeds. They should have…..like I said before EDUCATE THE OWNER. thats their job!
If you do this to a dog then take a picture and shame the dog all over social media…. You should not have a license

    • ill do a caution bannor now,

      People!!
this is not an syberian dog, he is not an american dog,
      He is a korean dog.
And this is a world famous internationall known keorean groomer.
who has a wait list. this dog and his styalist are well aquainted. he is safe and loved and happy. dogs also have vanity.
If i had the money i would let him cut my hair but alas, i am just a poor dog.

Now if you would love to see the artform stright out of korea,
      search,
fancy dog cuts from korea, dog cut transformation (my fav is the buffalo, tiger and camel)
And understand how another culture sees dog grooming with out rules or limatation.
and tell me this dosnt make you smile and put you at ease.
      As omona kami would say,
      enjoy!

      • Husky or any type of dog that has a husky malamute or any kind dog that has thick hair don’t have any business owning one if they are going to shave the dog hair off !! A professional groomer would never ever do this to a dog the groomer should know better and if they don’t it’s purely ignorance and abuse

      • were talking long haied dogs a maula mut is a short haired animals. people have always sheered all types of long haired dogs for a verity of reasons and the least would be for shedding

    • This is a winter worthy dog who is native to the tropics.
He’s not pulling a sled in bomb Alaska.
Nothing from the above husky club apply.

      • ellen cottone, you have NO idea where this dog is! You are making up stuff as you go, and where is bomb Alaska?

      • nome alaska, im sure you know what I mean
and yes i do know. groomer is in korea, dog is in korea, owner is in korea.
you can always twitter omona if you would like to verify. myself i dont have to it took me about 5 mins to figure that one out with what small amount to go on.
so once again if your curious as to if my bold statements are correct or not,
verify. but dont forget to get back to me with the results.
This is in the far away land of korea. dont ask me how i really Know because i dont why i knew..
The burden of proof is on you.
        But it is korea.

    • stop the press,
i saw a slightly bigger pic from englands The sun,
His tail is compleatly un touched and husky perfect. so hes sheered compleatly except for his tail and head.
and with a bigger pic. he looks heartbroken.like hes too sad to cry. now im going to cry

    • Shaving Malamutes, Huskies, or any double coated breed is dangerous for the dog. People should get a dog that fits their lifestyle, not because it’s pretty. Any educated groomer would not shave a dog. Even Poodles have a reason for their coats. Educate yourselves people, get a dog but get the right dog for you.

  1. This is DISGUSTING! You don’t do this to a double coated dog! It will ruin the dog’s coat forever, making it unable to ever grow back in properly again. The dog could easily get sunburn. Whoever did this was totally irresponsible, and that means both the owner and the groomer. This is just awful.

      • educate the owner about what. dog and owner are happy and this is not the first time or the last.
erp. why are you unhappy. groomer , dog and owner are great friends. this groomer is world famous.
it is an honor to be clipped by this groomer. its status. This is art baby. living art.

      • are you sure its not you who need to be educated JT.
In the medium of doggie hair dos? its a lot more light hearted they it seems to you right now. i do believe you are actally upset because you think the dog is introuble. he is not. hes ok really. dont worry. This is a culture of dog joy.

      • I honestly didn’t see anything wrong with it in the beginning until the flood of people persecuting the owner came through. That’s when I thought that the groomer should have made the owner aware of all these so-called dangers that everybody is writing about

    • says who?
poodles and other toys are shaved down all the time. and their grows back uneffected.
heath and well being of this dog is in no way effective.
the part above where they say sheering a dog will not effect cooling is a lie.either intentially or by ignorance.
a husky in a desert region will not need to burden his cooling system if bulk hair is deminished.
      thats just logical.
      Hairy logic.

      • Yes Ellen cottone double coated dogs should not be cut !! Other breeds are different especially if they are not double coat !! It’s okay to do !! Yes it will burden their double coat and they will get sunburn easily !!! Only time you shave a dog if it’s for a medical reason or if it’s severely matted !!! Trimming a dog hair is different than shaving the dog all the way down to its skin especially a double coated dog

      • i have seen an honest to god hairless dog,
honest to god. all he has is a little tufft of hair on his head. i mean no hair. its a peruvian hairless crested.and ironically also lives in lima peru in the desert.their is also a hairless chinese crested. i see them come up in shelters sometimes.you would gasp.nothing perpares an american for it. its unlike anything youv seen before.it was a shock to the senses at first.then you get used to them.
you do not feel like touching them let alone pet them

  2. I think it’s a proven fact that dogs should NOT be shaved, it ruins their coats and doesn’t do anything to protect their skin from the sun. My dogs have had surgery and never have had to have their whole body shaved like this, and fleas and ticks, a good bathing will take care of that! This poor dog!

  3. Okay, while I think it’s doubtful this was done for the right reason, there are some cases where shaving an animal is the preferred option (especially when shaving an area for surgery, the dog getting into gum/tar/oil or other substance that won’t just wash out, etc.), but typically they wouldn’t shave this large of an area. Either the owner isn’t happy about fur all over their house or honestly thinks this will keep the dog cool during the summer months. This dog needs to be kept out of the sun until the fur grows back.

  4. These comments are absolutely correct! Double coated dogs and any cats should not be shaved it’s extremely traumatic and leaves them vulnerable to many issues! I’m a professional groomer and I will not do this! This husky is the most extreme case !terrible uninformed person did this!

      • oh my goodness, inform them, of what?

they are lining around the block and paying big bucks for the service.
You got it all wrong. You are talking about old rules from dog beauty school that have been challanged , disproven and dispelled. its hair. anything goes. You are refurring to groom guidlines set up by american kennel whats it, for pure breed dog shows.

owners can do what ever they want with the dogs they own. so what is the crime?
all dogs are double coated. thats the hair on your couch when it gets hot its the undercoat that falls out and then grows back when cold.its not just with huskeys, its all of them
leave cats out of it of course they will not understand. but iv seen plenty of pursions with a lion cut its beautifull. and the cat lives to eat and purr again.whats the big deal.

ever have to watch a 4yr old boy getting his first haircut tramatic to everything with in 5 blocks. some how the survive and come back for more.
so noe that we have dispelled the trama myth lets move on.

donna , dont be confused. the high end celebrity dogs and high end groom art compitations are sadly not your forte, their is a whole world of artistic grooming styles that are way beyond your expertise. these transformation styles are mostly coming out of Korea. (ironey and paradox, but lets not go their.this is the fun, dog adoring part of korea and they are our friends and allies)

        Jt,
im going to give you a little secreat that will broading your data base.
this groom is not here in america.
they do not have the imaginary limitations that america likes to kling onto for comfort. All dogs can be sheered with no lasting problems. Its a million dollor enterprise done by the truly gifted and creative people and are in high demand. and owners and their special dogs wait for months and months for the privlage. the dogs love it and know they are special, transformed and love the constant attention when they are out and about.
and what doggie dosnt like getting his hair done..

      • How do you know it wasn’t done here in the states???
Everyone is talking about a “world famous groomer” where does it read who the groomer was?? Just curious…

    • Name 3-ligitimate issues from sheering a husky. I bet you can’t come up with 1 legit health or coat
      Issue.
All mentioned above do not apply to this dog above starting with hairless. He is not and parasites and sun burn
      Pure bunk.
But I will let you have your say.

This uninformed person as you say.
Is a leader in your industry and his work is international recognised and celebrated. Amazed you don’t know that

      • I’m normally not rude to commenters, but you have NO CLUE what you are talking about. Are you a Vet? NO? Then stop pretending you know what the (bleep) you are talking about…you DON’T!

      • Husky’s have little to no pigment. Undercoat has hollow cores which traps air to to insulate and guard hairs “top layer” is like a reflective shield and once shaved they DO NOT BLEND PROPERLY which results in health issues. You sound very ignorant & highly doubt you care but try doing your research before babbling bc that’s all you’re doing.

  5. It’s not cool or cute,
    It’s hilarious.
Maybe be lives somewhere real hot and non husky friendly like Georgia in July. And maybe he got skunked . But eather way when he was a pup I think his hair was that short short . And his hair will grow back.
    In 3 yrs

  6. This could be a fake photo but if its not its disgusting and cruel. If this is not a fake photo i hope that the owner is charged for cruelty

    • Why would you think it is fake?
He’s at his groomers. He no stranger to the sheer down and completely at ease and content.
He is not even leashed or tethered to a table.
      He is ,
      Mr foofie now.
      Formally Mr klondike

  7. You peeps are getting crazy over nothing.
He’s not shaved. His hair has been buzzed. Its an inch long. His skin is absolutly sun blocked.

I bet he is living in a place so hot you can baste in your own drippings.(georgia).
The so called facts above is dated an opinionated. No actual groomer or vet speaks.

Dogs from tropical climents sometimes have to adjust to a cold state . A chi in Canada needs pants , a coat and shoes. A giant long haired dog may need a buzz down for what ever reason .that would be up to the owner and the groomer.

There is no health risk and the hair will eventually grow back exactly the way it was.
I don’t think you are aware of the crazy high fashion fantasy cuts originating out of Korea.

They transform any dog. Your eyes will pop out of your head. Tell them you compromise a dog’s well being.

When they say the hair will never grow back is just not true. It takes forever so it may appear to not grow right but if it’s a husky who is now living in a desert region how could a buzz down be a health risk?

    Search,
Fancy Korea cuts and color for dog’s.
You will also think they are photo shopped but it’s real and you can see the dog’s love the process. Go ahead check it out.
You’ll be showing people at work tomorrow.

Ttypical American aditude. So square, afraid oof changing the norm. And you too easily believe anything your told.
Even when it’s not even based on any authority

    • Who the hell are you talking about typical American attitude learn how to spell !!! We are not square or are afraid of change !! But you need to know how to spell properly !!! Ah you think we as a Americans are easily persuaded we are not !!! We do know how to take care of our animals and love them as family

      • Typical american attitude.
Hates it when shown theres more out side there little world and the refusal to embrace it.
You were easily persuaded here by a short essey filled with non fact. now your american pride will violently defend it .
no body is talking about our love for our animals.

    • Ellen Cottone- That is a picture taken at the groomers. Then they Blast it on social media. No one has heard from the owner!. The groomers did this then shamed the dog! I guarantee you the owner did not consent for these pictures nor did the owner consent to have this done to their dog. Which comes down to unethical behavior from the groomers. Period period do you get it now???

      • but you all have herd from the owner guys.
I would imagine the owner was no other then the fabulous…..
        Omona Kami,

I would imagine the person who asked “who ever has never seen a husky with no hair, here you go”
        enjoy……
she is Korean. her English writing is amazing but has its limitation in common words. she would have liked to convey short hair. but she said no hair clearly his hair is at least an inch long and covered.

      • Heres what i see when i saw the pic.
see that weird yellow thing in the lower right. Thats is a straight up common everyday Korean item. you will never find that anywhere in the USA. also his owner is the one talking to the dog and telling him how good he is . The dog looks thrilled his daddy is thrilled with him.
The owner has watched the whole groom session and is the one taking the pic on his new Samsung Galaxy “9”for his twitter fans. This came from Kamis twitter.
I think whats happening here is culture shock like this and other extreme cuts and color based on Korean may seem severe but its just a preference with no harm to the dog.or to his adoring twitter fans. Thats what i see anyway

But i will agree with you on this jt. I have seen with my own eyes a dog embarrassed with a nerdy haircut. and i am not kidding

  8. This article is very enlightening. Thank you Cheryl Hanna. Too many people don’t understand why you shouldn’t shave your Husky.

  9. A “professional groomer” should have educated the owner. They are supposed to know these things about dogs!
Obviously the owner was thinking of the dog and the heat. If you all can’t see that, then you all are as ignorant as the “groomer”

    • I would say the groomer was just in it for the money. I know my groomer wouldn’t have done this, and any reputable one should have refused! As far as the owner, they have no business owning a husky if they don’t know how to take care of it better than this!

      • Barkleys mom I totally agree I think they try to do it for the money, these owners have no business owning a dog if they don’t know how to take care of their animals shouldn’t own one

      • mariann zito-
You are so quick to judge! Do you know everything about everything you own???
I think not! That’s why people take animals to the professionals so they can do the right thing. The owner is quilty for trusting the “professional”
How do you know this isn’t a rescue. How do you know this didn’t NEED to be done??? You don’t!
So you are just as bad as the groomers! Acting like you know about something that you don’t. Have some facts before you open your mouth! The owner shouldn’t own a dog because they dont know everything about it?????
With that logic….. There would be no human population in the world. No one knows everything on raising children.

      • That’s like saying you shouldn’t of had your child…. You didn’t know everything about your child before you gave birth.
Same thing. When using logic, make sure you use it correctly and cover all your basis before it backfires on you.

      • JT I did research my breed of dog before I got one and I did know about the grooming! I have German Shepherds, I would NOT have believed a groomer if they told me the dogs needed to be shaved!

      • omg,
every groomer is in it for the money you silly. Its called ,
Being a professional A paid professional. you are so cute when your being a dummy. How old are you really 5 ??
        Omg,
your groomer would so do this and for less money then this groomer would. she just would not admitted to you it being Her Biz and all

      • I love the huffy conviction you people have about a dog, an owner a groomer and a location and details you know nothing about. Its just hilarious how serious you all are as if there something awful going on. based on how easly swayed by a short essey. based purly on opinion.
There is not a grommer in the world who would not do the job at a owners request unless they couldnt master the task.
What are you kidding!? its what being a professional means.

      • i will never get tired of pet rescue report,
People are very funny here. Its like people get jacked up over nothing. And then spend 2 days defending it

  10. Are his owners OUT OF THEIR MINDS??? God put that that much fur on them for a reason. This is really sick. What possible excuse could they have had for doing this to that dog. Now what is he going to do to keep the summer sun off of him? Congratulations for screwing up his coat and possibly killing him. Damn HUMANS. Just how stupid does one have to be to do such a thing. Hope you are proud of yourselves.

  11. FOUND THESE 2 ARTICLES ON GOOGLE ABOUT SHAVING YOUR DOG

This is for miss know it all Ellen Cottone

Over the centuries, humans have bred some pets — specifically dogs — to have thicker coats than others, and these breeds can sometimes use a little help cooling off during summer’s heat, says Jean Sonnenfield, DVM, a veterinarian with Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta.

If you have a dog with a very thick coat who seems to suffer from the heat, some veterinarians suggest shaving them when the mercury rises. Resist shaving shorter-haired breeds because not only do they get no benefit from it, but they also run the risk of sunburn once shaved, says Stickney.

Actually, any dog can suffer sunburn, so if you do shave your thick-coated dog, be sure to leave at least an inch of hair to protect your pet from the sun’s rays.

You may also want to shave a dog that stays outside all the time, has a matted coat, and is likely to be wet often. In these circumstances, a dog can develop an unpleasant condition called myiasis — maggots in the fur. If your dog is prone to hot spots, a summer shave may be helpful, but discuss this with your vet first.

WHY YOU SHOULDN’T SHAVE YOUR DOG IN THE SUMMER

It’s hot and sticky across most of North America at this time of year. I have two Samoyeds and they would far prefer the temperatures to be at the other end of the spectrum. Anything over 40° is hotter than they’d like.

Winter is definitely “their season.” So yes, they do feel the heat in summer. But, in answer to all the people who stop me on the street to ask me if I’m going to “shave them down” …

… No, I’m not. And I’ll tell you why in a minute.

The “no shave” rule doesn’t just apply to super-furry northern breeds like Samoyeds, Huskies or Malamutes, but to other double-coated breeds as well. Herding breeds like Aussie Shepherds, Border Collies and Shelties are double-coated. So are Golden Retrievers, Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain Dogs and many more.

(We have another great article to help keep your dog cool this summer. Visit article here. )

    About Double Coats
Double-coated breeds have two layers to protect against arctic weather. The long guard hairs form the outer layer and protect against snow or ice and even shed water. The soft undercoat lies close to the skin and keeps your dog warm and dry. In winter this undercoat can be so thick you may have trouble finding your dog’s skin.

In summer, your dog should shed his soft undercoat, leaving just the guard hairs. The job of the guard hairs in warm weather is to protect your dog from sunburn and insulate him against the heat. Without the undercoat, air can circulate through the guard hairs, cooling the skin.

Unlike single coated breeds, who have hair that just keeps growing, double coats grow to a certain length and don’t get any longer. So you can shave a single-coated breed down and the coat will grow back again without really changing it. But that’s not true for double coats.

Shaving a double-coated breed can really ruin the coat.

    Shaving Changes the Coat Texture
If you shave your double-coated dog, you’ll probably notice new hair starting to grow in pretty quickly. Unfortunately what happens is that the undercoat grows first … that soft fuzzy stuff that stays next to the skin and keeps your dog warm. The guard hairs are slower growing and you’ll soon start to see them mixed in with the fluffy undercoat.

At this stage you’ll probably also notice that the texture of the new double coat coming in doesn’t feel the same as it did before. It tends to be “sticky” and Velcro-like. Your dog will come in from the yard with burrs, seeds, grass, twigs and whatever other plant life he passes, stuck to his coat.

This combination of soft undercoat growing with the guard hairs will also make your dog hot in summer, because the undercoat stops the air from getting to his skin and prevents the natural cooling process. The texture of the undercoat also absorbs the sun’s rays and contributes to overheating.

    How To Shave A Dog2

And in winter, the new sticky texture of his regrown coat means the undercoat will be more likely to mat, which can cause skin irritations like hot spots.

    Don’t Do What I Did
I know this because – before I knew better – I made the mistake of getting my first Samoyed a “teddy bear” cut in the summer because he was always in the water and I thought it would help him dry more easily.

    Big mistake.

The cut ruined his coat and it was never the same again. The guard hairs that grew back were very coarse and everything stuck to them. They stuck to themselves too, becoming tangly and extremely hard to brush or comb. And the undercoat seemed to matt very easily, so he always had felted mats in his armpits, groin, behind his ears and throughout his belly fur. And his skin got irritated and yeasty due to his matted coat.

Shaving Doesn’t Keep Your Dog Cool
What’s supposed to happen is that your dog sheds his undercoat in summer, leaving the guard hairs to provide your dog with insulation, and allowing cool air to circulate near his skin.

The guard hairs also prevent your dog from getting sunburned. Many double-coated dogs have pale pink skins (especially the northern breeds), and just like a pale skinned human, they’re more susceptible to sunburn. The guard hairs reflect the sun’s rays, protecting the skin from the sun.

How To Shave A Dog So, if your dog has a thick double coat, and he still has his undercoat in summer, you might think that getting rid of the whole lot of it will help keep him cool.

But it won’t. First of all, whatever fuzzy coat is left after shaving will prevent cool air from getting to the skin. But the shaved coat also lets the sun through to the skin. This exposes him to the danger of overheating, sunburn and potentially even skin cancer.

    How To Shave A Dog3

    A Better Way
The best way to help your double-coated dog stay cool in summer is to take him to the groomer. Ask her to bathe him and then blow out the undercoat with the high powered dryers. Most will also use a tool like a rake to help remove the coat.

Of course you can also use your own grooming tools to brush or comb your dog and remove the undercoat. But it can be a big job and your groomer will have the right equipment to do the job efficiently.

Just be careful about your choice of groomer and make sure she knows you don’t want her to shave your dog. Talk to the groomer who’ll be working on your dog and make sure she has experience with double coated dogs – and doesn’t believe in shaving!

Be very clear, because some groomers will take the easy route if you don’t give them specific instructions. Owners of double-coated dogs have been known to leave their dog at the groomer for a bath, blow dry and comb-out. But when they came to pick up their dog, they found the groomer had shaved him down.

4 Ways To Help Your Dog Stay Cool
So, once your dog has had his undercoat removed, the guard hairs can do their job naturally. But there are other things you can do in summer to prevent your dog from overheating.

    #1 Carry Water
It’s really smart to carry water for your dog on summer walks. You can buy doggie water bottles with a special lid that doubles as a drinking cup. There are also portable water bowls you can fill from a regular water bottle or drinking fountain. If you see your dog panting heavily and his tongue getting wider, make sure you offer him water.

    #2 Monitor His Activity
Some dogs who love playing games like fetch will do it all day without realizing they’re getting too hot. Watch for signs your dog should stop for a drink and a rest!

    #3 Let Him Get Wet
Buy a kiddie pool for your backyard so your dog can cool off. Or take him to natural environments where he can play in a river, creek, pond or lake or dig in a muddy river bank to cool off. I think this is a life-saver for my dogs in summer. Yes, they get wet and filthy, but they can enjoy hours of hot weather activity without overheating.

(Before bathing your dog, make sure you keep him safe. Check out our article … )

    #4 Indoor cooling
Air conditioning and fans will of course help your dog stay cool indoors. A lot of dogs will choose to lie on a cool tile floor instead of a bed or rug in warm weather – or even right on the A/C vent!

You can also buy cooling pads for your dog and they’re quite effective. The gel ones are nice and light compared to the water-filled ones, but just be careful if you have a chewer as you don’t want them swallowing the gel.

    A Word About Cooling Vests
You can buy cooling vests for dogs. I don’t have first hand experience of these, but I think for thick coated dogs, wearing the vest may prevent air circulation and contribute to your dog overheating. I also wonder if the coolness of the vest even works its way through the coat to the skin.

    Don’t Embarrass Your Dog
One more thing. This may sound silly, but it can be unkind to shave your dog for psychological reasons too. Let’s face it, double coated dogs look pretty silly shaved. Many dogs really seem embarrassed and look quite uncomfortable with their new “do.” Yes, your dog will probably get used to it, but is it really necessary to put him through that awkwardness?

So, let your dog’s coat do its work the way nature intended!

(The summer months give your dog the chance to play outside more and get dirty … but before you give your dog a bath, you’ll want to check out this article.)

    • You way over shot It,
      Nothing interesting here.
Nothing wrong with restating what has already been established and verified and reestablished .

But the subject was husky, who was shaved down with look or creek. The arrival asked if it was terminate damage it does not.

Also this dog and groom were in a different part of the world and lived in the tropics of aria even though it was a animal usually from a cold region..

Thanks for the book report on the mundane. Next time try to Google with some heart and soul.
