A confused senior dog his hidden away from public view at a busy, high-intake animal control agency in California. The 11-year-old dog, named “Kobi,” has everything against him – his age (few people want to adopt a senior dog), his location (an animal control agency that is packed to capacity), and the fact that he is not only hidden from public view, but not even listed online.
The volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, wrote:
KOBI is a gentle beauty and he is smart and sweet and he is so confused about being in the Shelter. Not sure why he’s in the quarantine part, away from the Public view but he needs your help now. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SO special and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him. NOT LISTED ONLINE
Kobi needs a retirement home – a place where he will be loved and cared for, unconditionally, for all the rest of his days. You can help Kobi find that home by taking a moment to network his adoption information.

Always very sad to see a senior dog in a shelter. I pray this pup finds a loving family that will care and love him in his twilight years.
My latest rescue is a senior who was in a city run shelter (high kill). He was 8-1/2 years old and I got him out as soon as possible after his stray hold was up.
That’s right Carson, hide them away so you get to kill them when their time is up. Don’t even try to find them a home! Thank you Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, if not for you we wouldn’t be able to share his plight!
Seniors make the best adoptees! They are usually house trained, calm, and just grateful to have a place to lay around and sleep peacefully. My last three adoptions were seniors, and I would choose them over a puppy any day.
Kobi is another of the seemingly endless senior dumpings. Kobi is in quarantine (?) so he needs our help to survive. He will need a foster home, pledges and a rescue group to help him find his furever retirement home. Please help by sharing his Facebook on your public Facebook page. Thank you.

Governor Brown Needs to get his head out of the “Potting Soil” and Come to the ASSIST of ANIMAL ABUSE in THE SHELTERS RUN by HIS “GUPPY”STATE of ” IT” getting OLD LETS TOSS IT!!! HE is getting OLD TOO!!!
Seniors who are left at shelters usually never leave! This is very troubling to me! Older dogs have alot to offer, they are housebroken, they are quiet, they love being couch potatos! Save a life adopt a senior pet the rewards are many and worth it!
Shared….i pray this sweet guy finds a loving retirement home….so sad for him ????????????????????
