In San Antonio, Texas, two men were arrested on Friday and are being charged with breaking into a home, stealing personal items and “violently stomping” a little dog to death. Andrew Jesse King and a 16-year-old male are suspects in the case. Both face burglary and animal cruelty charges.
According to News4, the burglary occurred on October 12 at a home located on Lone Shadow Trail. When police arrived, the victim stated he had awakened to someone in his bedroom and the burglary suspects had fled through a sliding glass door. When the victim walked out of his bedroom, he found his Chihuahua dead in the hallway. Police described the dead dog as having been “violently stomped to death.”
Stolen were a television, several guns, a cell phone, the man’s wallet and the keys to the victim’s pickup truck and motorcycle. A few days later, a tipster notified police to tell them a teenager tried to sell him a shotgun and had admitted he had broken into someone’s home and stolen some guns. In addition, King had tried to strangle the victim’s dog but when he couldn’t do that, he stomped on the dog until it died.
During a search of the burglary suspects’ homes, police found the cell phone and blood stains most likely related to the horrible death of the little dog.
