Cruel burglars are said to have drowned a family’s seven-month-old puppy in the bathtub during a break in on Wednesday in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. The heartless culprits stole a number of items from the Cobholm Close home including their computer.
The puppy was found “floating in the bath Dead” reported ITVNews. It was the owner’s brother-in-law who made the disturbing discovery when he arrived at the home after the burglary. The puppy named Benji, belonged to Mark Phillips who has been described as “devastated,” – stating the pup was considered “part of the family from day one” when he arrived.
The friendly lovable puppy loved to play and was great with children. Authorities are calling this a particularly cruel crime and are asking members of the public to come forward with any information as to suspicious behavior in the neighborhood.
