A teenager tried to smuggle a tiger cub over the Mexico border when he was busted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. According to multiple sources the 18-year-old, identified as Luis Eudoro Valencia, told officers that he bought the cub in Tijuana for a mere $300.
Valencia claims that he purchased the Bengal tiger cub on August 21 from someone who was walking an adult tiger through the city – he told agents that he wanted to keep the endangered animal as a pet, reported CNN.
Valencia was busted when he tried to cross the border in a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro which didn’t have plates – he and another person in the vehicle told agents that there was nothing to declare. An inspector was looking at the car because of a vehicle identification number problem when the baby tiger was found on the floor of the car.
Valencia is facing a charge for importing an endangered species without a permit – he has been released from custody on a surety bond. BBC News has reported that the tiger cub was taken to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park for care.

Wanted it as a pet? Until it got big enough and started to eat small animals and children. What a dummy.
Dumb shit! He also wasn’t arrested for driving without plates? Hmmmmm.
it never ceases to amaze me that starting with teenagers, on up to adult so called , adulthood, can be soooo stupid when it comes to animals, also if he did that to an endangered species, what would he do to a child?
He came across the Mexican border with a tiger cub and he should have been immediately sent back to his country.
