Dog homeless thanks to landlord issues

A handsome dog, who is said to be friendly, has found himself homeless thanks to his former owner’s “landlord issues.” The dog, a beautiful black German shepherd named “Lukas,” arrived at the Carson Animal Services facility on April 20 – sadly, Lukas is one of dozens of homeless animals who are currently being held at the shelter which is packed to capacity.

Just after Lukas’ arrival, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, wrote:

LUKAS is stunning and sweet and he was left at the Shelter due to landlord problems. He needs help fast, the Shelter is FULL and if he gets too stressed and shows any aggression they will PTS!! Please SHARE for his life, he’s SO special and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him. Thanks!

Lukas is just three years of age – he is in the prime of his life and he should be enjoying time with an adoring family who will keep him safe from harm. Please help Lukas find his new owner by taking a moment to share his adoption information.

  1. Curious as to what the “landlord issues” are. Did they move into a new place knowing full well dogs aren’t allowed, different landlord, or a change in the lease? Poor Lukas now needs another home. Praying he finds a loving forever home.

  2. This IS truly a Shame he should be out running in the prime of his life with his family in his own yard….. Carson isn’t a Good place to be dropped off…. I hope for a RESCUE to LOOK at his KIND Face and give him another chance….

  3. He’s a very handsome boy. I wonder what type of “landlord issues” occurred? A new owner of the building no longer allowing dogs? A new apartment complex that the owner didn’t bother to check if they allowed pups?

  4. What the fuck is wrong with landlords…people pay a lot of money to rent, they should be given a chance to prove that they are responsible owners and can look after a place with their pets. Give these people a chance, their pets are like their kids.

  5. BEAUTIFUL DOG!!!!! WE PRAY EVERYDAY THAT GOD AND JESUS WILL GIVE ALL LOVING ANIMALS WONDERFUL LOVING FOREVER HOMES AND HEALTHY BODIES!! WE ALSO PRAY THAT ANYONE WHO HURTS OF KILLS LOVING ANIMALS WILL BE SENT TO HELL FOREVER!!!! AMEN!!!!!

  6. Please God find this beautiful angel a loving forever home !!! I’m in Wisconsin I wish I could bring this dog home with me. Landlords are getting ridiculous with high priced places yet no pets. Bet they have pets
