In Oklahoma City, authorities from the City Animal Welfare organization are seeking information about the person who stabbed a dog 20 times. According to KforNews, the woman, Yolanda, who found the dog right outside of her patio door in a southwest city area, said the dog just came over to her and looked at her as if begging for help.
“…It was blood. He was covered in blood everywhere. He came over; he just looked at me like ‘I need your help and I just cried,'” Yolanda stated.
Yolanda called police and rushed the dog to an emergency veterinarian hospital where he is being treated for internal injuries to his spleen, abdomen, face and hind quarters. Now dubbed Valor by the woman who found him, Animal Welfare Superintendent John Gary stated the dog’s prognosis is much better, and he is expected to survive.
“A vicious attack like this on a dog is a crime. We hope someone can help us and our partners at the Police Department solve it,” Gary stated.
