The authorities are investigating after a hunter made a disturbing discovery in the woods near Lawrence Station, News Brunswick. According to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), the remains of four dogs, discarded under a tarp, were discovered on November 5.

Facebook user Justin Stewart posted several graphic images of the deceased dogs, along with a request for the post and images to be shared to help find whoever is responsible:

“SHARE SHARE SHARE , anyone recognize these dogs , while out hunting today directly across from Wyman road off the 127 I come across this … 4 dogs , 3 tied together at the neck ,wrapped in tarps, and one off to the sides, all with collars.”

Because the dogs had already started to decompose, their breeds were hard to determine – however, it is believed that two of the dogs may be boxers and the third a German shepherd. One dog was too badly decomposed to identify, reported Maritime Nightline.

Anyone with information about the incident, or who may know who the owner of the dogs, is asked to contact the St. Stephen detachment of the West District RCMP at 506-466-7030. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), texting TIP212 + your message to ‘CRIMES’ (274637), or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

  1. We live in a world of evil and must be aware of everything around us unfortunately. Many of these people have grown up like this and their behavior has never been dealt with at an early age. These are not people who suddenly decide to do things like this, but it has developed over the years when they get away with doing things like this, never get caught, and just continue.Treating animals so violently and brutally is not born in us, but develops for whatever reason and never gets dealt with when it starts. Just allowed somehow to continue until something like this is found. Hopefully they will be able to determine who these poor dogs belonged to.

    • That is a wonderful true.and a beautiful statement. i know you took the time to picture the dogs and prayed to them that you are sorry they suffered alone and they know you sent them your powerful love and they are happy and god appreciates that loving gesture,
humans and animals, we are all gods children.
all of us here today get it.its a shame that some humans never will.
