The person believed to be responsible for the death of a dog in Louisville, Kentucky has been arrested. According to WLKY News, 71-year-old Larry Meadows is the individual who beat a border collie with a board last week – a witness contacted animal control after seeing the cruel situation.
According to the Arrow Fund, Mira was not only beaten with a board, but she had been poisoned with anti-freeze. Before being rushed to a veterinarian, she suffered a severe seizure and had to be sedated.
Meadows was arrested on June 10 and he is facing a charge for animal torture causing serious physical injury or death.
