Ailing senior dog at busy animal control

An ailing, senior dog, estimated to be eight years of age, is being held at a busy animal control agency in California. The dog, a Neapolitan Mastiff (average lifespan for this breed is just 8-10 years), has many health issues – including a skin condition, eye conditions, and worn teeth – the dog, whose name is unknown, is also underweight.

A busy, frightening animal control agency is no place for a senior dog, in the twilight of her life, to be – especially a dog who is suffering from a variety of maladies. Please take a moment to network this dog’s adoption information and help her find a safe and loving haven.

  1. PLEASE some kind person step up and rescue this senior dog – he will be a wonderful companion to anyone who has a heart. These large dogs do not have a long life span and he desperately needs to be in a safe loving home for the remainder of his years. You will never regret it.

  2. Please rescue this Neo. This breaks my heart. I have a 14 year old cane corso mastiff and I love him to death. I’ll be grateful if he lives for another year. Neos and cane corso mastiffs are very closely related. If I’m allowed to have a third dog in my condo complex, I would take her in a nano second.

  3. Of course it’s Lancaster! The entire “Inland Empire” better known as the “Inbred Empire” is full of ignorant, self entitled, highly undereducated low life scum! The entire Riverside County and San Bernardino County are an embarrassment to the rest of California. AND on top of it, some idiot in the state Senate decided that animal abuse is NOT a vicious crime, so it’s a hey day for animal abusers in California!
UNTIL THE LAWS CHANGE IN THIS COUNTRY, THESE STORIES WILL ESCALATE!

  4. I put my name in to adopt this mastiff as i own a 4 year old mastiff already and was notified today that she did not pass her temperament test and is now a rescue only adoptable dog. If there is a rescue out there that can help and go get her, please don’t wait.
