An elderly dog, found in a house which was filled with trash, is in need of a loving, permanent foster home. The senior dog, who is estimated to be an impressive 16 years of age, is in Washington state and she desperately needs a safe, clean, and comfortable home to live out the remainder of her life.
On Wednesday, the Lake Stevens (Washington) based rescue group, Old Dog Haven, posted a request on this senior dog’s behalf:
Very old quiet girl, about 50#, supposed to be 16 years old. She is thin, has ear infections and a hanging mass, calm about life but still is spunky about going on walks. She ignores dogs and cats she meets at the shelter, had been living with another dog, and responds well to children. We know nothing more about her medical needs – just that she has a great face and needs to get out of the shelter.
This senior lady is in the twilight of her life – she deserves to spend what time she has left being spoiled and comfortable, and most importantly, loved.
